Excellent food. After reading a tip in the reviews, I ordered the "small portion" chicken in peanut sauce (with rice). That was still a hefty bowl of food, for only 7.50!

Delicious food with a very large menu for both small and large appetites.
Great food for reasonable prices. Furthermore, you get a huge amount of food.
Small family restaurant.
The husband cooks, the wife serves.
Very tasty and plenty.
Many locals come for orders. I saw how the police took the order.
I definitely recommend it!
For over 20 years, is Chinese-Indian Takeaway "Fook Sing" at this point in the Molukkenstraat. The case is driven by a Chinese couple whose husband cooks excellent, and the woman creates a cozy operation.
Fook Sing is not just a takeaway, you can also eat there. There is room for approximately 20 guests. Both the Chinese and Indian food is little adapted to Amsterdam's taste. So that this is the place where many people from Amsterdam go to get Chinese or eat with the Chinese. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are of the size that you have to be a very big eater to eat it all at once.
The menu now also includes Thai dishes that are very tasty.
I get and eat there for at least 20 years good service and fantastic food I have tried others when they are on facantie but no they are the best
You can only order lobster which is not on the menu we were delicious
The best takeaway Chinese in Amsterdam. Kok is very knowledgeable in various Chinese cuisines and has a love for his profession. It is a pleasure to eat there and also to pick up food. Everything tastes fantastic and the portions are more than adequate. Bringing what's left is no point here. The term price / quality ratio has been invented here. The chef's wife is almost always a hostess and she helps people who come to collect them. Driven, knows what to do and she likes to talk if you want, but also takes a distance if that is appropriate. I am super happy that I live in the area and let me taste their culinary delights 2 or more times a week.
Best Chinese in the neighborhood. Sincerely friendly people and great food.
klassieke Chinees met lieve gastvrouw die er altijd is.
Fook Sing is a small Chinese restaurant that has been located for years on the Molukkenstraat in Amsterdam East.
Eating in the restaurant is possible as well as picking up.
Nowadays you can also pay with a pin.
I always finish the meals. The half portions are my favorite because it is more than enough for a person and that for only 7.50.
Staff is friendly and welcoming and never shy of having a chat.
One of the best takeaways in Amsterdam for a very reasonable price. Friendly madam.
Klein en gezellig Chinees restaurant met heerlijke gerechten.
Very nice people. The meals are of good quality. Very good restaurant and significantly better than the average Chinese restaurant.
Good value for money: tasty Chinese food for a good price.
Very good and tasty products, very well served. They are very kind. She dont speek english but a menu is available in english on place and there with it's possible to order if de dont know chinese or netherlandish :-)
In my opinion THE take out chinese in east! Tasty dishes, but of course the whole ambiance is complete if you pick up your food here. Man is cooking. Woman behind the bar. Numerous men waiting for dinner with a tulip of beer;)
Super friendly, super tasty. Quality doesn t need a lot of words 10/10
Debating between 1 or 2 stars, but...
Food: So, so. This is definitely NOT Chinese.
Experience. Poor. Though I do not eat chicken and pork, and told her accordingly, the soup had pork, and the noodle also had pork. I had to kill the pork taste with chili paste.
The worst part? I was charged EUR 2 for tap water, and an extra EUR 1 for unknown reason. EUR 2 for tap water was bad enough (the ONLY restaurant in Amsterdam that charged me for tap water, out of more than 15 different restaurants) but that extra EUR 1 for no reason is beyond inexplicable.
The place lost my trust... food wasn't that good anyways, so, I shall NOT return.
Nice taste and big portions (only tested take away) yet. Will come back.
Very nice and nice woman who talks pleasantly with the guests
Great people always friendly good food nothing to criticize for years regular customer
Fantastic dishes and a very friendly service. Have eaten here four times now. Even my son who often eats Chinese because of his participation in lion dance is very enthusiastic. According to him, the best Char Sui he has ever eaten.
I came here in the 90's, moved away and now I'm back and the place is still excellent. Good value for money. Next to the standard Chinese take away menu they have a few dishes that are a bit special and set them apart.
Great food, large portions and an extensive menu. The hostess is also very fond of a chat. All in all, nice to have found this place. I will come back here for sure.
Delicious take out food. The owner is always very friendly. Highly recommended is the tomato soup. Tastiest I've ever eaten anywhere with fresh tomatoes.
Small-scale Chinese restaurant.
The food is great though.
Cash payments only.
Good food, nice hostess who takes special account of special wishes. Come there for more than 25 years!
Super tasty food for a very reasonable price. The owner is a super sweet woman who is always in for a chat.
Wanted to go to the toilet and that was not allowed!
Food also very expensive and of poor quality you can better go to the Nam Kee!
Never go !!!!
