Restaurant de Knip Review

Despite the Corona time, the restaurant was fully booked. I had quite high expectations for the restaurant based on the recent reviews and ambiance. However, it was disappointing. The servant said beforehand that the students were in the kitchen. Good that they indicated that, because I tasted that it was indeed not prepared by an experienced chef. One scallop was cut into 1/3 pieces and the onions were much salt. And that for an exaggerated price. As for the main course, the server had not asked how I wanted the beef tenderloin to be fried. In the end, the meat was medium rare. However, it was on the weird side. The tenderloin was also quite tough. Furthermore, the amount of the main course was very little. I was therefore very disappointed in the price and quality ratio. A positive point is admittedly the friendly service.

Went for a wedding party. Setting was delightful. Food, drink and party were great.

Had our wedding in the knip. It was literally the best day ever. Marcel is a great host. The hapjes were so creative and tasty.
