Excellent lunch today.
What a wonderful taste experience.
We will gladly come back.
Picked up a high-tea for Mother's Day for Mother's Day. Terribly bad. For that price, with cling film wrapped sandwiches and the rider jam. Far below arrow value for money
The food is like the Porshes collection on the doorstep; consistently good.
A nice bistro in the middle of the country.Good food.Reasonable price and smooth service.
The food we got was tasty but nothing sensational. The bread supplied was not worthy of the name bread. The starter of green egg beef was tasty but the Japanese pancake indefinable. The main course of deer stew was also tasty on its own, but stood all alone and was very little. My partner's sea bass had scale and bone. Fortunately, the dessert panna cotta was a party.
Nice place, friendly service, food changing. Some dishes are a bit bland (sea bass), others like the duck leg are fine. You clearly pay extra for the location.
Good and nicely made up food. Pleasant woman in service.
Delicious food prepared with attention, skilled and professional staff, both in the kitchen and on the floor, also matching and delicious wines, highly recommended!
The restaurant rightly bears its Michelin star. We were two and had the six-course menu including drinks. All of my wishes and food intolerances stated by the reservation had the extremely competent and pleasantly confident service present. The very carefully prepared dishes were each described very knowledgable while serving. Although (it was Saturday night) all tables were occupied, the two service staff were never busy or stressed. The wines always harmonized very well with the food. Describing these in detail would require too much space. The bill was surprisingly lower than it had to be according to the map. At the end (after four and a half hours) we were handed off by a handshake. We had a great evening and can highly recommend De Hoefslag.
The Greatest Restaurant I have ever eaten in. I once lived nearby in Huis ter Heide on Dunweg while I was an enlisted Airman at Soesterburg Air Base in 1983-84 and it was the greatest gastronomic experience of my life. THANK YOU. Over thirty years ago and I remember every meal, the twins and the chef owner I remember as the most gracious and down to earth hosts I have ever had the joy of meeting.
VERS EN NEER GOED ETEN , makkelijk te bereiden, als of je in het restaurant bent.
Als je niet naar een restaurant kunt, voor een lekkere maaltijd, is het een echte aanrader.
Good restaurant. The bistro has now become the main hall. Operation is very friendly and amicable.
Has booked something in quality.
What a fantastic wedding of our son and daughter-in-law we had on August 6 !!
Sommelier Casper ..... fantastic wine and food arrangement But completely ..... quickly switch from outside to inside ceremony ? .My, and from many of the guests, sincere compliments, it was TOP!
Had dinner at this restaurant last night
awesome !!
Friendly staff with good advice
Food delicious!
Location fantastic!
Just do it once !!
Very tasty, nice, quiet restaurant with good service.
The bistro area is also nice, but not that special, especially if you are used to the restaurant area.
Yesterday we had dinner at the Hoefslag again for the first time in over a year.
This time with friends we invited. They were very good
Talk about it. I recently started eating vegan and it became perfect there
Keeping that in mind, and apart from a few small things, it was delicious.
In short, we will definitely be back.
I almost forget to mention that we really like the new style.
It is now all nicely open and there is also a very atmospheric bar !!!
What a nice place hidden in the woods near Bosch & Duin. Team led by Bjorn and Lennart can really pamper you. Will come back again soon!
You gotta love this. A formal event, but of course a great kitchen. Nothing to complain about. More something to take your business associates to than a fun outing with the family.
This is a restaurant that I would not recommend!
Staff is unprofessional and not well trained.
No decent food for a vegetarian!
Hot lightning and game are dishes that a cook must know to make, if he can't ... don't!
You can't give a vegetarian a hunk of potatoes with a little bit of apple and call it hot lightning.
Also the 2nd time the service left something to be desired. Too bad.
Pricey but usually good. Only this time it was a bit disappointing. Baking fries (see below) was served and was only replaced by better ones after some insistence.
Good food, good service, nice ambiance and beautifully situated in Bosch en Duin. Recommended!
If you do not want cyclists to come here, you should not put "welcome" on the board, but "not everyone is welcome". We asked if we could have a drink. "Yes, but I only have space in the sun". That wasn't right (was maybe a hint). Then we were completely ignored. After fifteen minutes of waiting in vain, we went again.
It was tasty, but very modest portions, and furthermore when studying the bill it turned out afterwards that a number of drinks were charged too much. Error, can happen, but I do not like that there is no response to my email message.
On the expensive side and we had to wait a lot even 45 minutes for a glass of wine.
Delicious menu, nice to sit outside overlooking the garden.
Super eaten prices are still on the firm side, but Quality is good
Last Friday ate at the Bistro, the food was very disappointing. It has been a long time since I have been served so bad food.
We are not going here anymore for the time being.
Brasserie..so much the service sls the quality of the 3 course menu were of a very good level.
Very tasty and beautiful dishes. Worthy of a Michelin star? I just don't think.
Good food in this case. The dish with chicory was super - you don't see that often on the menu. Ample parking and very friendly.
Food is super on taste. Operation top! And while eating, your car will charge more nicely.
Great, delicious food and you must also taste the coffee
all right, just forget the triage questions (even if no longer required, a case of this level should give its guests the good sense of corona). guests may be said hello when they leave.
Delicious! Top sommelier, surprising wines and very cozy
Fine lunch and at the same time meeting. Good service.
2 choices under 1 roof! The bistro with a nice casual atmosphere and nicely decorated. The food is great. In addition, the homely cozy restaurant with a Michelin star. Absolutely perfect and delicious food with beautiful matching wines.
Delicious food, nice matching wines with the different dishes and really good food. Beautiful presentation of the dishes, neat service in a fantastic setting for an evening of optimal enjoyment.
Top restaurant. Had a great evening and had a great meal. And not to forget a big 10 for the staff.
A nice bistro in the middle of the country.Good food.Reasonable price and smooth service.
Cannot hold back the quality of the past. Overpriced
Delicious enjoyed the lunch menu together with my sister. The risotto with forest mushrooms was very tasty.
What a beautifully beautifully renovated and decorated restaurant in a great location. The restaurant is closed on Sundays, but the brasserie is open and it is definitely worth it. We will definitely come back again.
No more what it has been unfortunately. We have always had a fantastic meal here and have returned because of the good memories. Unfortunately everything but please .. young girls as staff, food not special and the restaurant now in the bistro. We came for the old 'Ruif' feeling.
Beautiful location .. delicious dishes .. informal neat service
Great diner experience. It's not a large place so make sure you make reservations.
A little disappointing. At lunch my tournedos was 'well done'. I was not asked how I prefer to eat the tournedos, but to assume that it should be 'well done' was a disappointment.
Great place to grab a bite! Fantastic service and a beautiful terrace.
After my mother-in-law's cremation, ate here at his request. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Delicious food with delicious wines. A worthy ending after a worthy farewell.
Douwe Pen.
The garden room remains beautiful, but the kitchen is no longer what it used to be. Bit average, not very special.
Great place for a meeting. Good food. Makes the Michelin stars come true
Very disappointing. Not in terms of food but everything around it.
Eating here is always a pleasant experience. Especially when the weather is nice it is great to eat on the terrace while looking at the relaxing garden. Everything is at the level you expect. Perfect for an evening of romantic dining.
Good restaurant, refined dishes. Operation a little less. Sometimes I had to show the initiative myself to pour the glasses. Interior has had an update. Looked good.
Super tasty food, nice atmosphere, enthusiastic service.
Amazing food and service, but can be very busy and a bit noisy.
Today again in De Hoefslag.160 km before and a three-hour drive (incl. One big traffic jam every time on the way back) to enjoy a four-course lunch + wine arrangement (unfortunately not for the driver), it is completely worth it. We do this several times a year and it is always a party. Great food, nice wines, nice ambiance + environment and ..... last but not least: you are a valued guest here, thanks to the people who work here, super !!
Fantastic. Everything was perfect. We will be back!!
Despite the busy Monday, the customer still comes first and eaten well.
Smooth and friendly service. As is known excellent cuisine. Dinner in room separately due to farewell party, great ambiance.
I had not been there for years because I moved. De Hoefslag and De Ruif have been exchanged. An absolute improvement for De Hoefslag. The atmosphere is much more intimate. As always we had a fantastic meal. And the car was nice and close in the parking lot.
Very nice address for a well-prepared and very tasty meal
in the bistro the acoustics are poor, everyone starts talking harder to understand each other, the wine and service good, the food moderate, all together, not recommended,
I found this wonderful jewel while I was on a pleasure-bike ride out of Utrecht. What a find too! It is establishments like this that make Holland such a special place to visit. You can be way out of the city, and here is a Michelin 1 star restaurant. It's like magic. I was there for lunch and had a perfect Lobster Bisque, which was so elegantly presented. The butter in Holland is awesome, the butter here had black specks I'm guessing are truffles. With a beautiful glass of Chardonnay, I was transported into a sensory fairyland. Thanks to all the staff there, your dedication to quality is unsurpassed. I look forward to returning!
Good restaurant, very friendly service. Little big table for 4 people and why 6 different glassware brands?
Definitely worthy of the star.
It was very tasty and had a great evening in total! Not for a cheap bite, but definitely worth the evening
Quality, presentation and pricing appropriate for a restaurant with 1 star. Delicious eaten.
