I received a cold call ttoday from a guy trying to sell me on refinancing my mortgage. I told the guy that rates are too high right now. I asked him for the current rates and he didn't/couldn't give me an answer. He told me they were low enough for me to save hundreds of dollars a month on my mortgage payments. That's a bunch of crock! He went on to tell me not to watch commercials on TV about the rates. I told him I research the rates on my own and I do not rely on TV. I said no thank you but refinancing at this time is not beneficial. The man was rude and said it was fine if I was ok with my rate and abruptly hung up on me. Idiot didn't know he was speaking with a Sr. Government Underwriter (Quality Assurance Analyst).
Very poor customer service. Not a good look!
