I love being there it has it rules but some people need those rules. A great experience and learning experience. Best decision I ever made, being there made me a better person and ready for life it self.
I took the trade electrical. I got my cert. The staff were cool, caring and pro. The food was terrible. Mind your business and you should survive.
This center does not answer any student texts. If you need any help from staff that requires more than 5 minutes of their time. Dont expect anything out of it.
Horrible place to work and very unethical.they will hire anyone to fill a seat. And that comes across with the way employees interact internally and with residents. The company has a high volume of staff resigning on a continual basis. Applicants BEWARE!!!!!!!!
Great place, and amazing opportunity to become something in life. I went into the program 03/17 without a HSD/GED, picked Facility Maintenance as my trade and by 08/17 I had a GED and completed trade. I recommend PCJCC to anyone that really wants to better themselves for the best because honestly it s not enjoyable when you are only focusing on your friends instead of the work to complete. Another factor that is really important if you are thinking about signing up..... NO RELATIONSHIPS AT JOB CORPS. But other then that it is a really nice environment, ALOT of great students and staff to help guide you in the right direction of your life and life long goals
Great place to get an education on plumbing plus you get a $1K bonus to spend on your tools when you graduate with the HBI program. Definitely worth it.
I submitted an application on March 27th and it is now May and still haven't heard a thing from this Tampa. It's absolutely ridiculous. I have left numerous voicemails on different people's machine and still no answer. I just spoke to a manager at the Jacksonville office, Sherry Hopper or Hooper, not 100% sure and she was very apologetic and explained why this is occurring. I get what she said but I still feel some kind of way about this. Very disappointed in this office and their professionalism. FYI I tried giving no stars but It wouldn't let me post this.
St Pete job corps is a alright school some of the teachers will help you even in your trade overall don't be in no relationship.Be positive last but not least rack up on snacks
