I go here so I'm obligated to give it a 5 star review. This is a very good STEM school, but if you want to go here for a non-STEM major, you may want to reconsider, since the best courses and professors here are in STEM. This college is also very expensive, so apply for financial aid! The coursework is very difficult but also rewarding. The community is very tight-knit and close. This is a smaller college in Troy, NY, so there is a lot to do on and off campus (barring COVID times). The campus is quite pretty and safe from my experience.

Free estimate consist of someone showing up, never climbing on the roof, and gone in under five minutes but was able to determine the whole roof needs replaced? Can t speak of the work because after two other companies said our roof had plenty of life left in it I don t think I could trust them with anything

Very well managed move in day for freshmen, Very happy to see my son go there great school nice people.

We came to briefly visit our son, who is a freshman at RPI. Took a walk along the campus. The grounds are impeccably maintained. Enjoyed the architecture of the university buildings. Especially impressed with the tastful blending of the old and new.

I like this school a lot and I think the quality of education you get here is very excellent, but the administration really needs to go and the students can have a negative attitude. Some of the professors need to be better at teaching as well. I can tell that they know their content very well but they are not good at teaching. It's not the majority of professors, but it is enough to ruin a class experience. Overall, I think the connections to research and industry are really strong here and it looks great on an application. The campus is also really beautiful, especially in the fall!
