My preference would be to give this business no stars. I am sure buyers will write the positive reviews. I was a so called consignor - I was actually a gifter. RCM has it figured out. They choose what items they take and they "set" the price. I looked at some items on the floor and they seemed overpriced for a consignment shop. RCM says you will get an email within 7 days with the price they set - and they say if you don't get that email it is your responsibility to contact them. Well, surprise - surprise- surprise - I did NOT get an email. I called to ask why and them it was "discovered" my email address had been entered incorrectly in their system - even though it is written in the clearest print possible on the contract. They sold a formal dress that I paid $320 for new and it was worn once and in mint condition -they sold it for $50!! That was the initial price they put on the dress. Then they deduct their $25 set up fee and their portion of the sale - and I am left with 0. I had looked at the prices in the store and expected my dress to be priced reasonably. I was not sent an email. I had regretted signing a contract with them before the end of the day that I signed it because it was not "consignor friendly" at all - I was running late for an appointment, had waited 2 hours in the heat because I locked myself out of my car, and I was not thinking very clearly. I was scheduled to have back surgery the next week and was trying to get tasks completed. I never expected to be done this way.. I gave a very nice garment to RCM - not intentionally. I truly believe I was deceived and got taken. If you are looking for a place to sell your clothes - think more than twice before trusting RCM.

I thought the store itself was very nice, but I had a horrible experience with the owner. I went in on a Saturday to see if they would look through some clothing I'd brought, and a very nice lady told me they don't take new consignors or look at clothing on Saturdays, and I should come back Monday. So I went during my lunch hour (a little early to avoid any lunchtime traffic) and the owner said she wouldn't see me because I didn't have an appointment, so I was about to leave and she said "oh never mind, just bring them in here". While she accessed the clothes I went upstairs to their prom section and was sure I'd be bringing my daughter back during prom season because they had such a great selection. I heard my name over the speaker system and went back down to the back room and she handed them to me and said "these aren't the types of things we take here, we can't use any of them". I was really dumbfounded, all of the dresses came from Von Maur, Belk or White House Black Market. I asked her why and she said it just wasn't what they could sell there. The entire interaction with the owner was so rude and unpleasant. I guess I should have realized ahead of time I should have made an appointment, but the experience just left me feeling really worthless, and that's never how you should treat people. Needless to say, we never went back to look at prom dresses. I'll never step foot in that store again and tell anyone I can think of to avoid that place.

At 40/60 I think it is a rip-off! Most consignment stores give 50/50 but this one takes 60% and reduces the prices twice. Then if the clothes don't sell and you don't pick up they give them to charity. The amount of stuff they have to sell you will be lucky if you clear 5 bucks! They have hundreds of pairs of jeans.

Best consignment store in town! Great selection, quality, and organization. ALWAYS have designer goods, AUTHENTIC! Tons of formal wear for any occasion, designer jeans, tons of cute casual dresses, and furniture and home accessories that will have you drooling. Plus, a salvage porch that is pretty much a Pinterest lover's paradise.

If you love deals, designer, furniture, or just shopping, it's worth the trip down 280.

The store was very nice and big. The clothes downstairs were not very good and I did not see anything good. Upstairs was a different story, lots of formals and bridal wear. But the worst part of it was the people that worked there. They were no friendly and flat out rude. Not one of them answered nicely or even had a smile on there face. I will not be going back.
