Remora Cleaning LTD Review

We were extremely impressed by the calm professionalism and work ethic of team. We were moving out after selling our house and the service provided was just what we needed.

Worst cleaning company ever. They did a horrible job, failed the inventory check and I had to pay to their lousiness. The price they charge is not reasonable either. Please save your money and time and find a cleaning company elsewhere. Honestly, my regular cleaner does a much better job than that.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I don t post negative reviews unless the service is absolutely diabolical!

Horrible and unprofessional service. I called 5 times to book and confirm the booking. I would get a different version from each person i would speak to. Apparently whoever booked, went on holiday...? What excuse is this?

Anyway, they didn t show up on the designated time. I waited 1.5 hours. Then one person showed up saying he s there for a regular cleaning. He did not have any equipment on him. He also said he s not there for any deep cleaning.

Came back the next day, property was as I left. Shoe marks on the floor, dust and debris still there, handles sticky to touch and not been cleaned, bathroom still dirty - I mean the list can go on!

I have used Remora multiple times and cannot recommend their professional service enough! They are reasonably priced and work hard to make sure the property is cleaned to a high standard, and if there are any omissions (which there are very few of) they are happy to reattend to ensure the clean is to your specification.

I employed the services of Remora cleaning for a tricky piece of specialist cleaning of a garden at a property I manage. The tenants were thrilled with the results, and I found Remora to be fast, communicative, honest, and great to work with - they kept me updated throughout and offered genuinely helpful advice alongside doing their job.

Remora have worked for me, as a property investor, for over 6 years; and I have never had an issue with them. They liase faultlessly with tenants and arrange access, carrying out move in and move out cleans which always pass inventories and are often praised by the clerks due to their attention to detail. They have also removed rubbish, including hazardous waste (needles) from a shop that had squatters in it for me, and disinfected a house when inhabitants had Covid at the height of the first lockdown. They are a can do company who are always willing to help, with Denise and LorraMae being absolutely fantastic. Well worth a try!

I used Remora after moving into a one bed flat in Hammersmith. It was a bit of a tricky situation as the flat had not been professionally cleaned between tenancies (like it should have been) and I had moved in with all my furniture - far from ideal!! I emailed Remora and after 15 minutes had a full deep clean booked in for the following day. The team are highly efficient, professional and friendly. They managed to turn a very stressful situation into something positive.

Of particular note, the carpets were steam cleaned absolutely beautifully and looked completely different after which was a real bonus! I was also quite worried about a couple of antique pieces of furniture which could have been tricky to clean around (or could have been damaged during the carpet clean) but they took immaculate care, moving everything very carefully to complete the job. The whole process was surprisingly un-intrusive and took 2.5 hours.

Full disclosure, I am a friend of the company owner s parents.

It was suggested that I call Edward at Remora after non-paying tenants were evicted from a large rental property near Ascot that I have owned for a number of years. The condition of the property on gaining access was absolutely horrific, with rubbish and broken furniture piled up in every room, flies and rotting rubbish both bagged and out. In over 35 years as a landlord I have never seen anything as bad as this.

Edward was extremely helpful and carried out a site visit to take photos and survey the property room by room, before providing a detailed quote. My insurance company wanted to see a method statement and vetted Remora before giving them approval.

On the day of the clean, an enormous truck arrived, together with two separate cleaning teams, in uniform and with supervisors who began unloading equipment and organising staff. Over 70 bags of rubbish were sorted, categorised and bagged before being removed, together with damaged furniture. The cleaning teams set to work and also categorised damage meticulously as they found it - this was to prove very helpful for the insurers who praised the thoroughness of Remora s post cleaning report and photographs. Carpets were stain treated, then shampooed, and everything was sanitised and cleaned thoroughly, from the oven which looked like new, to windows and extremely greasy surfaces. They coordinated with their own decorator and gardener, both contractors who came in and painted a number of rooms as well as repairing and tidying the gardens.

Within the space of a single day, the house was absolutely transformed and when my letting agent saw the property the next day having seen it at the time of the eviction, they were absolutely gobsmacked; I believe as a direct result of the quality of this work they have taken Remora on as an official contractor, which speaks for itself. I feel in particular Edward and Greg (one of the team leaders) did a superb job and I am so grateful for their professionalism, thoroughness, and the speed of their resolution of this very stressful situation.

Fabulous service, Greg was both friendly and professional, they even descaled my facets, 10/10 would use again!

I called Remora after they were one of two cleaning companies recommended by my estate agent on moving out. On my move in the other recommended company had done the clean and it was extremely poor, so I did not even bother to call them. Denise at Remora was very helpful and sent me a lot of information about what the clean would consist of, which I made sure matched the estate agent s requirements. On the day of the clean they arrived within the one hour slot they provided and the team were polite and efficient, removing the oven glass door panel to clean inside it! I checked everything and signed off on the clean. They even helped me take my last luggage out when they left. I did not receive any deductions from my rental deposit for cleaning and I would not hesitate to use them again. In fact I wish they had been used on the move in by the estate agent as they did such a good job.
