This was a very difficult time to be looking for a job from December 2020 to January 2021. Like many, I looked to move quicky and spoke to many recruiters during this period. December was hard to get a response from anyone but from one of the 190 jobs I applied for online, Reimin Reid contacted me. I accepted to have a one hour meeting with them, kind of like the meetings I used to see with recruitment companies years ago but for some reason, no longer exisit?. The meeting itself was superb. We talked through where I had been, where I am now and where I wanted to be. Reimin Reid got to work. This was very alien after the weeks of daily online applications as the team went out of their way to contact me with specific and suitable roles. Unlike the other recruiters which I would speak to but would have to chase, my experience with Reimin Reid was quite the opposite. This was table service and I was being waited on by 4 people at the same time.
I think the main reason I trusted Reimin Reid's service was the honesty and transparency. Knowing and deeply understanding my skill set and also offering advice to highlight my CV in certain areas, they would also discuss why an opportunity I had found on their site was not the right fit for me. The key initial meeting and the continues conversations really helped me get into the role I wanted and roles that were relevant to me. They guided me through the interview processes as they went on through the weeks and even gave assistance out of hours including the weekends.
A company that makes you feel like you are their only client (when obviously i'm not) has a suburb customer care model indeed.
I ultimately accepted the job offer that Reimin Reid recommended and was ultimately employed though this very uncertain and turbulent time.
