Good rehabilitation clinic. A little out of the way.

So far, I am very satisfied, the staff throughout friendly, the food is in my opinion good, but there is always nagging, I should not care, my conclusion at half-time, it fits.

My grandmother (78) is now the 3rd week in the clinic ward 6 and we are very happy with the treatment. The staff is more than helpful, friendly and competent. Thank you for that at this point. We can recommend the Asklepios clinic with a clear conscience.

Since Corona as in prison you are not allowed to leave the premises Visitors have to saw 3 days in advance to be there for a maximum of 1 hour all under 16 years are not allowed to enter the Gelende not so everything thought out but otherwise it is ok.

Great therapists and helpful staff, the food was nothing for my taste but that is individual. I am very happy to have chosen Schaufling. I leave with good experience and progress

After several strokes it was my 3rd rehab, I felt very well cared for.
Special thanks here again to the chief physician of neurology, as well as the head of speech therapy and psychology, as well as to the leisure therapist.
Although the house is over 100 years old, at least my room was very nice and well equipped, the station staff friendly and helpful.
Now the negative, at time intervals of max. For 20 minutes, the physiotherapy was too short for better results, the management seems overwhelmed with occupational therapy (almost only the same exercises and standard lectures). The kitchen was good so far, the biggest shortcoming, at the weekend there is no salad, sausage and cheese in the morning and in the evening it could be more varied.

One star is still too many.
The doctor tells a patient that she can no longer work as usual (6 hours) and the doctor's letter says that the 6 hours or more can work. The patient (a close relative of mine) cannot believe what is in the letter. The story is turned so that it is the patient's own fault. And not just with this patient. One patient had an open wound on his foot during the rehab stay. He always complained about this to the experts. Nobody responded. Until a doctor finally responded. In his letter it says that he is a smoker and therefore is to blame himself. Back to the patient Allegedly she is only on sick leave because she cannot / is not allowed to drive a car.
The doctor put her in a self-help group for epileptics to better deal with the disease. The patient has had epilepsy for over 30 years and can live with it very well. The seizures in January 2020 were caused by meningitis.

The desolate condition of the patient rooms reflects the employee qualifications in many areas!
My father was transferred straight from the hospital to the rehab clinic in Schaufling, in order to get fit again after a bypass operation with a stroke that was associated with it! That started the dilemma! At the first point of contact between us and the clinic, namely with the reception staff, it was clear that it would be a challenge! The receptionists are hopelessly overwhelmed, unfriendly, unstructured and annoyed by every visitor you have to "deal with". Unfortunately, this impression was also confirmed in the relevant neurological department. Here, patients are NOT cared for accordingly after their arrival and taking their condition into account! (Example: My father was initially unable to get up on his own. This was not recognized and he was simply left lying there until we called the receptionist's attention to it. Unfortunately, this also happened to an acquaintance who was brought in at the same time repeated. This negligent approach towards the rehab patients is not an isolated case !! TIP: If you entrust a member of this clinic, you will help him!) As it all began, the next 3 weeks unfortunately continued!
Reception: unfriendly, overwhelmed and brash with every visit (I accept all necessary measures in connection with Corona, but the sound makes the music!)
Eating becomes a challenge: every day, Viennese people were on the program as a substitute for eating in order to regain some strength. Thank goodness the cafeteria was up to the Viennese rush and had enough in stock!
Therapy: there is a ray of hope here.
Are medical utensils required on the ward, such as Dressing material, it can resemble a lottery game. When you put it on, the question arises whether you know what you are doing!
Due to the experiences we have made, we can NOT recommend this clinic if your relative is in a situation worthy of care and depends on the quality and attention of the staff!
Ask your general practitioner whether he knows the clinic and whether it would recommend it! We did not do that in the heat of the moment. UNFORTUNATELY! Otherwise my father would have ended up in another rehab clinic!

The first impression from the outside is not bad.
Because I do not know the owner and the business from the inside, I do not allow myself any judgment.

So I can not confirm the rating of the Google users, private patients always think they were better or deserved better treatment, but the doctors can hardly manage to treat all private patients first or better, since there are other patients gives the help you need. Every doctor is free to deal with patients. And I think it's good that everybody is treated the same way in the asklepios clinic. The doctors and staff at the establishment are doing a great job and are all a nice bunch of people who take great care of the wellbeing of the individual. Therefore, I say thank you and keep it up, I am very satisfied and looking forward to my new life without pain. I have extended now, three weeks and had the woman Seidl as assisstenetz physiotherapists, I would like to emphasize that the work was carried out to the fullest satisfaction. Ms. Fleissner my masseuse is a pro in her area, I keep on saying so and she definitely deserves a raise, as well as all the other employees too.

This place Schaufling is very beautiful a lot of forest mainly the clinic all around a health resort

Was twice in Schaufling great staff nice staff great doctors. I can only recommend it

Great clinic, always friendly and helpful staff, great therapists, especially my help, Mrs. Stadler and Mr. Sandhas, who got my knee "back in gear". Sometimes up to pain threshold, but very successful. Many thanks for everything !

This rehab clinic is completely unstructured in every area
I was already in another clinic 5 years ago and not only came back from the musculoskeletal system but also conditionally
This is not possible in Schaufling
Hardly any applications for the knee / sled prosthesis (0.83 effective per day)
If you want to get fit here, you should put together a good program and work on your own.
The visit is unmotivated and does not respond to the mentioned pain points.
The dismissal was just as chaotic in principle.
No papers ready, I had to collect my documents personally in the building. All applications (IRENA, transitional allowance) were discussed and promised, but in the end I had to take care of it at home. What I phoned !!!
In principle, 3 weeks left
There were a lot of patients who also confirmed that to me but did not say so when talking to the housekeeper.
I even got to know a burnt victim who used water as a therapy, even though they should not let water on the implanted skin for 3 months
Incidentally, 70 euros for a side-folding bed for the visit absolutely outrageous
There are still positives.
The physiotherapists are great but unfortunately overburdened
The food was also very good
The rooms (it is being renovated) I found also very good

I hope that this will change again, because many patients have confirmed that until 2015, this clinic was really great

The omnipresent friendliness of all doctors, therapists and employees is only surpassed by their expertise and competence, empathy and humanity. Already at the admission on the first day, in cooperation with all doctors and specialist therapists, all patient concerns are discussed, from which a coherent therapy plan is worked out and implemented. The daily treatment plan is tightly organized, but at all times consistent and taking into account the particular clinical picture, so that always best implementation results can be achieved. Reception, kitchen and housekeeping are without complaint and are unparalleled.

My mother (79) went to rehab, poor medical care, got bed sores, was mistreated, came back home sick. Everything was denied.

Since Corona, like in prison, no children under the age of 16 are allowed to enter the premises and you are not allowed to leave the premises. Otherwise you will be kicked out. Disaster The Corona plan is not thought through to the end

I was in the psychosomatic department in 2017, I can only say great department, excellent, thank you

Nice staff with whom my grandma felt comfortable. We got her back alive and well.
