I was registered not too long after I arrived at ER. There was adequate physical distancing among patients. The only fly in the ointment is that it took around 2 hours for me to get an ER room to be examined.

I was very impressed with how well run your emergency room is, especially with hundreds of patients signing in & waiting. Even though they are so overwhelmed, they off kindness and patience to everyone. I was so impressed with Antoinette, who signs you in (what an amazing and kind person while she is working at record speed). My PA, Sapna Lalwani who coordinated everything including my examination & issuing orders for medical tests and labs was so thorough & understanding as well as calming my worst fears. Mark, the Radiology technician always had a smile on his face and used humor to release all the tension in the air which was not an easy thing to do.
I absolutely love all the staff . I went into the emergency waiting rm guided me to use the computer a nurse came to me asking me my status . I was in within five min tops. Very nice n showed they cared! Thank u regional u are always 5stars in my opinion! I felt safe and cared for immediately.
Triage on Sunday afternoon was major wait if not such emergency. However, after about 5 hours wait, I was able to get a provider to help me with my hernia. Andrew took extra care during wait time to see that I was comfortable while waiting for the provider to have a diagnosis and course of treatment complete. I was out in 6 hours total of waiting but still I felt well taken cared of during this wait period. The staff and doctors were very helpful and kind and did there very best to maintain a well managed triage of medical care.
My first time here took me almost 6 to 8 hours i had a big sharp pain in the middle of my chest literally waiting while in pain and it looked like they dont care if certain people are in pain and again my second time almost 5 hours of waiting dude while in pain and nurses passing by back and forth knowing your in pain and they dont do anything about it but yet they help other people with little things like a swollen toe real quick right? But let other people be in pain? Thats just wrong
Do not bring your loved ones here at all costs. They only care about revenue and profits. Attending physicians work for the payors (insurance companies) who will bluntly advise family members to give up on their loved ones to save the insurance companies money on treatment costs. Completely unethical! Most of us usually trust whatever our doctors advise but at Regional, you need to be your own patient advocates and do not trust what their physicians say. We have much better facilities in the Bay Area to choose from and this place will never be on our list for anyone in our families or friends again.
All I have to say about the stroke comprehensive care at the Regional Hospital is that they are the best. The nurses and Doctors and all the staff are the best when taking care of your loved one. They are fast and knowledgeable. When a patient needs intensive care, nurses and doctors stop by every minute to check on patients and even go further to prevent future problems. My family was blessed for being helped by the Regional Hospital and all the professional team. You will be in my prayers, God bless you.
I was so touched by caring environment. It was great and so thankful.
My mom was recently hospitalized at Regional Medical Center. The facilities were very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and professional. The physicians who took care of her, from the ED to the hospitalist and specialist, were fantastic in taking the time to call me and update me on her condition. They went above and beyond, and I really appreciated the wonderful care. This hospital is a community gem.
