I paid off a 2,000 bill and for the last 4 weeks I have been calling for a receipt. Its' as if they do not want to report your well doing to the credit bureau so they can hold you by the balls knowing full well you paid your debt. Its a crying shame that Suntrust would hire a company such as this . I cannot wait to hear this mornign why they have not sent my receipt in 2 weeks Pitiful

This company has two sides: a debt collection side (which may or may not be legit but tricks a lot of people into giving up information since most people have defaulted on debt)...the other side is what appears to be an phishing operation. The representatives don't even know they are involved in a scam on the phishing side. It is a pretty good setup keeping your workers in the dark because they are convinced they have a legitimate job and trying to collect information on "bad people" who haven't paid their debt. Problem is they don't have any information on you and the workers are likely on an auto-dialer and told to collect information on whoever picks up to get them to sell their debt. I got a call and the FIRST thing they asked was to verify my social security number.......I said no..... I said : "you just said I'm in default on my debt on my debt so you should already have that...so tell me who I am...what is my name?" They couldn't even tell me my name. They had no clue who they were calling. I have had my same phone number for nearly 15 years there is zero chance it was for a previous phone owner. They insisted I had debt in default and needed my name and other information in order to settle it. I said send a statement of debt to my physical address and I would reply that way...they didn't have it and asked me for it! They were phishing for my social security # and other information. I am guessing they are a company trying to buy debt and using auto-dialing. Pretty much everyone has debt so it's a good trick-call since all they have to say is "you're in default on your debt"...people will try to think of anytime they missed a payment or forgot about a credit card. If you give them your social they'll get a list of your debt and take that as permission to purchase it for collection fees. That or just sell your information. A scam/phishing/consolidation of sorts. I checked my credit score with all 3 major reporting agencies (by the way never pay for this you get 1 free credit check every year from each of the major agencies through the federal credit reporting site) I have zero debt in collection action or past terms. Installed a call blocking app, had 4 different numbers from them blocked in the first week, then another in a month, then another in 3 months. Now they're done. Also, they can't even spell their name right on their google business profile. This place is a s***hole

Called me today to inquire about a relative of mine. I asked if they were the same firm that called a week ago. They stated no, but uttered the same phrase "personal business matter" used previously. Very unprofessional to call distant relatives phishing for information. They obviously don't understand the meaning of "cease and desist." I filed a complaint with the FCC since I'm on the do not call list registry.

(They purchase old debts) The called my cell and home phone and would not talk. I called back and was asked to verify my social security number. After a brief Google search I called in and talk to a supervisor. She informed me that an account from years and years ago that had been written/charged off after a long dispute. Then it was sent to them by the company for collection. This is how you know they are not legit; I said I was under the understanding that when this happens I am under no obligation to pay cause you've bought this account. She tried threatening me and handing me a line. She ended the call by saying they would be closing the account and sending it back to the original company. Never have I gotten rid of a debt collector so quickly and easy! They buy old accounts for pennies on the dollar and come after you for full amount. I don't understand how this is even legal!

extrememly rude for starters. If your going to collect a debt your should atleast have accurate documentation. When they send letters out they have no account or reference numbers, just state you owe money, pay now. Took them 52 days to validate a debt that was 10 years old, and it isn't even my debt!

Just spoke to a representative, her name is Jennifer and I had also spoken to a Star Rogers who is the manager. I did have a payment arrangement with them and because my husband had a stroke, and he is a disabled veteran, jennifer was EXTREMELY RUDE! Asking me so many questions about well if my husbabd is a veteran then he's getting a VA check so he can pay. Wow... I have MANY other words to describe her unprofessionalism and I had requested to receive at least an email that would state the my arrangement has been stopped. Their excuse "sorry we don't have any sort of way to do that but I can guarantee you that your payments have been stopped" all I know is that "IF" it is on a recorded line that the payment better have stopped because I will sue. These people do not care and are rude TO SAY THE LEAST!

The lady who I dealt with was very professional and actually let me rant a little due to my issue. She did some research after I explained to her my situation and let me paid what I actually owed to my old university. I explained to her that I never didn't want to pay what I owed, but that the third party company that my university used never sent me my bills, so it was hard to know what I was actually paying for. I paid what I owed, she sent me documentation on everything and that was that. So those of you complaining and that can't actually use coherent sentences, are the ones who are more than likely on the wrong end of the stick. Pay your debt and move on!

FRAUD!! Jacob Fredenburg called our office, saying he had a note to call the owner of the company (whose name he didn't know), and was incredibly rude while I tried to figure out who he was and why he was calling. If he is a representative of his organization, NEVER use it. Seems like a phishing scheme to me.

These people are idiots. They keep calling and harassing me at my job even though I've told them they have the wrong person. My SSN doesn't match with the person they are looking for but we have the same name. They won't listen and are demanding private and personal information from my employer. Sounds like a scam to me. If they keep calling I am going to sue for harassment. I pay my bills so they really need to stop contacting me!!
