The Parks here are unbelievable. Thick ground cover and towering redwoods give the forest an air of mystique. The trails are generally easy and the vista points are breathtaking with forest and drastic seascapes. Definitely worth a visit. There are not many facilities, so check websites to ensure you have everything you need and can plan accordingly.

The redwood park was very awesome. I've always forever wanted to see those trees. The forest was magical. I was expecting a little fairy might appear behind the forest ferns between those amazing trees. I miss those trees now that I'm home.I want to go back.

I had wanted to visit the Redwoods since I was in the 5th grade. It was the BEST experience! I was in awe of these beautiful trees. We walked a trail thru the Coastal Redwoods to the Pacific Ocean. It was a long trail, but worth the effort. The sun shining through the trees was breathtaking.

Of course this is absolutely beautiful. It is everything that you would expect it to be and more. I saw elk on my drive. Went on an 8+ mile day hike. Got assistance from park employees. Drove on some amazing back roads. I will be back.

Not sure how they call this a park without as little as a swingset. I went to Lowes and hung some for $40, there's tons of trees around to cut down so I only needed rope. Not a great park, but at least the kids won't be so misled.
You're welcome california.

Make sure you have lots of time. I almost spent the night out there alone, it was a very scary exprience lol. I thjough bigfoot was going to get me. I started at 12 noon ,and hike way farther than i thought and I had to hike back about 3-5 miles in the dark. uckily the moon was out and gave me some light, but i was totally un prepared and had no flashlight and oonly had a flip phone at the time, but had my i[pod and that gave me enough light to be able to see the trail back....other than that it was one of the most beautiful hikes of my trip in northern california

It's been 39 years since my parents drove from New Orleans Louisiana to the Redwood Forest I am happy to bring my children through here so they can have the memories I hold dear to my heart.
