It is a very nice restaurant and food was awesome. The night my husband and I went was our 20th wedding anniversary. Although I noted this on the reservations no one except the host who sat us said anything.

The new bar is just a fraction of the size of the old location. Maybe 10 stools plus just 3 high tops. Very disappointed as we would often drop in for a quick dinner and drinks. I'm sure they did research before doing this, but it makes little sense to me.

Short ribs were excellent and served with red potatoes, asparagus, and a rich gravy. Paired with a local chocolate stout..hmmm good.
This isn't someplace I go all the time as they are a little on the expensive side..but worth it. ( average about $35- $40 per person including tip.)
( waitress are kind of pushy on upgrades..kind of just quickly asked if we wanted cornbread with the meal..not mentioning that is an extra $5.00)

My family loved it. The setting is unique with big wood furnishing and my sons, who work in Culinary, were very interested to note the very open kitchen concept. They also thought the men's restroom was pretty cool... So much so that one of the boys wanted to take a picture but stopped when someone walked in... The food... Really good. All 6 of us were pleased with our selections. I don't think you will be disappointed either. The wait staff was very good. Believe it or not, parking was the only "not 5 star" experience. With all that mall parking, we ended up in the nose bleed section. Not the end of the world.

Go for the chicken and ribs, they still do a good job with those items. However, the rib eye was a terrible cut and the tres leches dessert was actually dry. I didn't think that was possible. I ate less than half my steak and my wife shared her ribs and chicken. A more observant server would have noticed, wasn't worth it to send back, but probably should have since I'm complaining about it now. Typical Minnesota move :)

This place feels like an upscale bar despite being attached to the mall, which is an impressive feat in my opinion. Been here twice and both times was worth $50 (app, drink, entrees) for two people! Leftovers were still fantastic the next day. Service was really good, almost annoyingly perfect. Go here!

Shame on you Redstone for hiring a manager with such salty behavior! While the food and service were excellent, this lady clearly has no interest in pleasing customers OR problem solving. We purchased $300 in gift cards! (same day) and received $75 in rewards which we presented for our tab. . . They just forgot to tell us they were not valid for a month. Oops! All would be fine if she wouldn t have been such an ogre. Wish I would have bought gift cards for my friends elsewhere . I won t do that again.

The food was really good, I had the walleye. I also had a really yummy cocktail that had elder flower and Hendricks gin in it. I'm taking off one star because there was a severe gnat problem on the patio.

Have been to Red Stones other times for what I would tell as many people as I could how great their brunch was! I say was because it has been changed and is no longer good!
Service was good, company good but food sub par for an $18 brunch. Just blah! I was so excited prior!

I've never had a poor experience at Redstone EVER. I appreciate their customer service and great food. Check out what's new on the menu ... Shoes not included

Cajun Seafood Pasta *without andouille sausage

Shrimp, scallops, andouille sausage, bell pepper and onion, roasted jalapeno, Cajun cream sauce, parsley.

They were a bit short on the portion size but I enjoyed every bite anyway.

Went there on a busy Thursday night. Took 35 minutes to get a table- liked their text system for waiting though.

Vegetarian and gluten free options are not marked, choices are few and far between however or server did indicated that they can omit certain ingredients from the menu options. (I know this is hard to accommodate and reviewed the menu before sitting down, so I'm not going to take points away here)

I went with a basic house salad and garlic mashed potatoes. The house salad was made earlier in the day (or at least the mixed greens and veggie were chopped some hours ago) the parmesan cheese seemed freshly shaved. It was good but not great. The mashed potatoes were very dense, even for real mashed, as far as restaurant mashed potatoes go they were decent.

I also had the crushed blueberry, honey, Rosemary and soda mocktail - it was not overly sweet and tasty. It was also $5.

My husband and son both got the rotisserie chicken and loved it, both said was quite good and had a nice spice. It came with a handful of asparagus (Also good) and mashed potatoes (no gravy). The child's version comes with smaller cut and a couple pieces of asparagus and a small fruit cup.

Prices are a bit up there and I believe there is comparable quality for less, but understand some folks like to pay for the ambiance.

My wife and I had an enjoyable time here. We ordered the Cajun Seafood Pasta and Garlic Mushrooms. The sauce was rich and creamy while the seafood was cooked to perfection and seasoned wonderfully. Our server, Amanda, was amazingly understanding about my wife's surgery and needs. She was super friendly and kind. Her customer service is very above average! We would love to have her as our server the next time we eat here!!

I went there for lunch with some colleagues from work. The place has a nice atmosphere, service and food were good. But for what they put out, the prices are way too high. $17 for a French Dip sandwich (lunch size portion, not very big). All other dishes in the group, were $18-20 and not that big either. Who wants to spent that kind of money for lunch? Well, the place was actually quite busy....

Time after time fantastic experience, around 8pm. Brussel sprouts were cooked and crisped to perfection, I could eat their BBQ braised beef short ribs eveyday tender and full of flavor, excellent GF menu. Service has been consistently fast, refined and professional. I love dining here for all occasions.

Food is invariably good at Redstone. Service varies more widely. Prices are average. Wine selection is poor, and relatively expensive, especially by the glass. New location inside Ridgedale mall is more modern, but lacks some of the charm of the old location across the street.

If you want to try a little bit more sophisticated American food without having to pay a lot, this is a good option. It's not cheap, but not very expensive. We tried the Redstone steak and it was delicious, even if the portion was a little bit small. Special mention to the dessert. The cookie with ice cream was out of this world. I think I would go again just for the dessert. And the portion was big.

The two stars are for having our table ready at 1 pm and the service we received from out waitress. We had a party of 14. We waited for almost 30 minutes to get our food after ordering. 5 people got their lunches. We then waited another 5-10 minutes to get the next 5 dishes. Then we waited an additional 5 minutes for 3 more people to be served. The birthday girl received her meal last and they apologised to her for over cooking it the first time and they chose to remake it instead of serving it overcooked. 3 of the dishes were wrong. We sent the meatloaf back. I strongly advise against ordering it. My husband said that it was the driest and most tasteless meatloaf he had ever had. The portion was about 3-4 ounces. They forgot to add the marsala sauce. They did remove the meatloaf from the bill. The total bill was $350. It was not worth half of that amount.

We met friends here for a drink and the prices were comical. Beers must be $7.50 each, as our bill came to just under $16 for two. Our friends paid $45 for three foo-foo drinks. Food looked reasonably priced, so not sure why they are gouging people for alcohol. Other than this, the place looks pretty nice and the atmosphere is good.... except for the fact the restaurant is attached to a mall.

Had lunch here with gal friends mid week. Nice menu, but very pricey. ($8.50 onion soup; $18 sandwiches/ salads.) Glad they've ditched the overwhelming woodsmoke smell of the old restaurant, but still have the rotisserie chicken. Food was good, but not THAT good.

The best spot in the metro. They have great food and very unique liqour and wine selections. You'll usually find me here an hour or so before close on weekdays, chatting Danny or Lance's ears off. They're good people. Come feel at home sometime and say hi, I'm sure you wont regret it.

Loved the previous location! Attempted several times at the new site attached to mall. Disappointed first few times and tried to be positive with each future experience. You just want it to be good! Reminiscent of the old location. Last time we went to the new location, decided to sit at the bar and get lunch. Absolutely the worst bartender. She put the entire place to shame. Left the bar several times and everyone was in limbo wondering what to do. Our requested food was either prepared wrong or she didn t request/input it correctly. Multiple people complained around us. We didn t say anything. Wasn t worth it. We felt like we said enough trying to get a cocktail and our food ordered. It was difficult enough to get that.

Had a great lunch experience. Our waitress was so helpful in choosing what was good. She recommended the chicken parmesan and everyone at the table had that for lunch. It was definitely a hit. Food came out within a decent amount of time and was delicious. Would love to go back and try the chocolate lava cake.

Was in a pinch on time ordered their broiled walleye and asked them instead of the rice pilaf if I could substitute it for more vegetables they said yes but there would be an up charge for it I told them that was fine. When I got home I realized what I really got was the broiled walleye and an array of fruit and peppers, mushrooms. The only vegtable I got in here was a few tiny diced chunks of zucchini. The rest was what looked like cantaloupe, cherry tomatoes, red yellow/orange peppers and mushrooms all of which I don't care for. This could have been avoided with proper communication. By the way this meal was $36.....
