These folks have been wonderful since my kiddos first came to see them over a decade ago. They ve expertly guided us through prevention and hygiene, preventative orthodontic procedures, insurance, and changes to the family situation. I d recommend them to anyone on the Eastside who wants someone who will know their kids and their family and help for the duration of pediatric dentistry.

This dentist office truly cares. Both our kids are chemically sensitive and they have done their best to accommodate. At our last visit our car battery died and a hygienist helped jumpstart our car. Both kids tried unsuccessfully to see another family dentist and it just wasn t the same.

We love Redmond Kids Dentistry. Dr. Merchant and Sheryl are the super duo. They make our trip to the dentist so pleasant. Our kids feel really relaxed and they look forward to come back for their next appointment.

We visited Redmond kids dentistry last week. The reason we chose this clinic was due to great ratings and the convinient location. We got an appointment in the afternoon and the check-in process was swift. Dr. Merchant diagnosed my daughter's ailment correctly. The toy vending machines get children excited to come back. Reason for taking away 2 stars:

1. Like previous reviewers have mentioned, I find it inconvenient that they prefer to book afternoon appointments mainly. With younger children (toddlers in particular) it's preferable in the morning as they have enough energy and will have higher tolerance for time consuming treatments/x-rays. I can see scheduling being even more difficult for school aged children who have a tighter schedule to adhere to. Not sure why the limited morning appointments.

2. Dr. Merchant may be a good dentist but I found her style of communication with my daughter abrasive. She seems like someone who's more comfortable communicating with adults and lacks that "inner child" or patience you need with someone under the age of 5. I find this soft skill to be important when being involved in pediatric dentistry. Dentist appointments are trying for children as it is. There was a previous reviewer who mentioned this if you scroll back. And there are detailed reviews on this matter at Yelp. Her assistant was more forthcoming.

My 2 year old son just had his second visit at Redmond Kids Dentistry, and the experience was the highlight of his day! Staci was really wonderful with him, and she had great recommendations for helping us to make brushing his teeth easier and more effective. Dr. Merchant was amazing with him as well! They both took time to make him feel comfortable, which I really appreciate. Thank you for your great care and making it a positive experience for my son!
