We went here today and were told it would be a 15 minute wait. We were asked for a phone number to be contacted when our table was free, after some 20 mins we approached the server who had obviously forgotten us. As we observed that there were 2 groups who had arrived after us being seated outside the server approached us and tried to blame to us for leaving even though we were in the red truck carpark and he had told us we would be notified by phone when the table was free. Server was rude and condescending and continually tried to shift the blame to us yhe customer when he was at fault. Business lost

A laid-back, no-nonsense microbrewery in East Vancouver, Red Truck offers a good selection of highly drinkable beers and tasty bar snacks. The large patio, friendly service, and funky theme decor enhance the overall experience.

Brought some friends for Blackberry beer floats. Redhead at the bar taking my order was very unhelpful when I asked for advice on beer suggestions. When the 3 beer floats arrived, the glasses were only half full and our server (same person who took our order at the bar) just walked away - for $8 each, a huge rip off.
When I brought the half full beers to the attention of the other server, she said they will foam up (which they never did) and walked away. If your going to invest millions of dollars in a fancy brewery, maybe spend some time teaching your staff about basic customer service skills - especially when there is so much competition for craft beer in the neighbourhood.
I will never recommend Red Truck to friends, nor will I every visit again.

I have been to many breweries in Vancouver and Red Truck is definitely in my top three. It's a large space which means you have more of a chance of finding a space, the decor inside and out is very in keeping with the name of the brewery and the cool old school trucks help with this vibe.
There is wheelchair accessible entrance and also a disabled toilet on the main floor.
The menu is quite varied but I have to say if you are looking for something healthy you will definitely struggle, even their salads aren't amazingly healthy with creamy dressings etc. However, if your looking for a roadside truck stop classic this is the place! The beer is great and they always have tons of variety and seasonal specials, most of the staff are friendly and all of them are knowledgeable about the beer. Go make a pit stop there!

Friendly staff. Cool truck/beer motif. Great food at a decent price. Good beer.
I had the Breakfast Hamburger on a long weekend Monday. The burger with fries and a beer was $14 on the weekend brunch menu. The beer was 22oz instead of 16oz because it was Monster truck Monday. I enjoyed the red pilsner. The burger was tasty and large. The fries were hot, crispy and tasty - I salt and pepper them to my taste.
This "brewery" is right off of the "Central Greenaway" bike route and has a couple of bike racks for locking up.
I will definitely consider returning and recommend to others.

Went to lunch with a few friends and sat near the kitchen. However, my time spent was shortened when I overheard the employees telling each other to check me out and made remarks about my looks as I was getting water and cutlery. I felt very uncomfortable and told my friends I had to head back to class before ordering my food to go.

Lots of room to spread out, servers were mostly great. The one that seated us and then one behind the till were fabulous! Needs more sauce/chilli/cheese on the chili cheese fries. Pineapple Hefeweizen was lovely and light!

Kinda bummed after this visit. My partner s veggie burger was the best patty she s ever had. My fish and chips was disappointing. Very little fish, too much batter and terribly overcooked. I honestly should have sent it back. My pale ale was tasteless too.
Quite an off night really.

Been a Red Truck IPA man for years, but lately I've not been able to find it in bottles, consequently I have migrated to STEAMWORKS IPA. You will lose customers if all that's available is in effn cans!

Not particularly my top pick brewery for the area. Seats are not exactly comfortable. The layout makes it hard to walk around, the servers are always asking to squeeze by because there isn't enough space to walk around!

Red Truck was my introduction to Canadian beer. Wh...

Red Truck was my introduction to Canadian beer. What a revelation. There is a real passion (a much overused word but not here) behind what they do and how it's presented. A great choice of beers on tap and those serving have an intimate knowledge of the different brews and it has a lively atmosphere. If you get a chance, take a tour of the brewery itself. A perfect example of maximising the use of space. The raw materials come in the front and the finished product leaves, packaged, out of the back. Good for groups of all sizes. Maybe call ahead to check on space. The food is good quality diner style and the bacon cheeseburger is the best I've had. Do try the deep fried beer battered pickles. Perfect with a beer or three. For up to date information, the website or Facebook page are the best places to go to.

Really cool location. I've stopped by to fill up Growlers a couple times and have always been happy (it's beer - who wouldn't be happy?). I've stayed for food once - nothing to write home about but it got the job done after an afternoon of softball.

I live close-by and was excited to have a diner that serves breakfasts so close. Service was great but the online menu said $10 for most breakfasts but the actual menu said $11. Corned beef hash was good but not quite $11 good. Price makes more sense at $9. I'm bummed it won't be a regular place for me.

Friendly staff and nice location. Cool decor. Good selection of in-house beers. The hot dog was good. The burger was ok. I felt it was a little dry but the flavour was good. The garlic fries, with the fresh garlic, were awesome!

A great Micro brewery. Normally food at microbreweries is limited and although limited at Red Truck, you have to give extra points for having Nathan's Coney Island hot dogs. Went to Red Truck on a sunny weekend and sat on the patio in the sun. It was a great experience. Not for people seeking line and fine dining, but if you're into Microbreweries this is an excellent choice. Good beer and service. Great patio.

I've been here many times, and the service has been generally good, although twice I've been turned away. Both times were roughly 30 minutes before closing. Once around 1130 on a Friday and again mid-week. We were at other breweries in the area and aimed for Red Truck last because they're open the latest in the area, supposedly.

Beer wise, the blackberry bourbon ale is delicious. Their mainstays are all solid. Overall, their beers lean slightly to the hoppy side.

The space is fantastic. There are well-stocked fridges near the entrance for off sales, and a gift shop (this is no micro brewery). The main space is mostly social "long table" seating, and a garage door opens up some patio space when the weather is nice.

They even have bike tools near the door if you need air in your tires or some quick repairs.

Don t rent a keg from them. I tried to get one for a birthday party and they refused to let me reserve it prior or pay for it before the event (even though it s best practice across all other breweries). I called a week prior and once more 3 days before. They said to just come the day of and it ll be super fast. When I went get the keg the day of, they ran out of pumps and tells me that it s super easy to go to any other brewery to rent one out. THIS IS WRONG all other breweries only rent out their pumps WITH THEIR OWN KEG because there s never enough. I end up running around to a few other breweries and the other breweries helped me locate one from a party rental company.

Very disappointed. We came here specifically because they stated they had "puppy parking". There was a hard cement stairway where people are constantly going in and out with little to no shade. There was a bowl of dog water as advertised. We have been to places where there is grass or turf specifically placed out off to the side of the patio (not the direct entrance) and those places are more than welcome to call that puppy parking! They put the effort in. Red truck didn't even have anything to hitch the dogs to. Another customer with a dog was there and she had snuck her dog under the hedge of plants separating the dinning area from the entry way with a dog bowl, she also said she had expected proper space for her dog. Go elsewhere if you're looking for somewhere to dine/drink with your pup.

This is a great brewery not too far from Central Vancouver. I ordered a flight where I was able to sample four of their beers. The Oktoberfest (seasonal) and the stout were my favorites! It is definitely a must if you're visiting breweries in Vancouver. Also, the food smells incredible!

Mitch was a great help. Had Pineapple Hefeweizen, Lime Pepper, Kettle Sour, and the Berry Bourbon Ale, and it was 4 for 4 hits. Top notch stuff. The Red Truck Dog was delicious. Helpful staff, safe place to eat during COVID-19, and a great general vibe. Red Truck was already my fave, but the brewery is even better.

I had the Texas burger and the amber ale. Very tasty meal. The chairs were a touch wobbly, but that's okay. The atmosphere was great and their aesthetic was on point. Also, the washroom is so friggen cute. You should definitely check it out!

The beer is good. The people who worked there were great. I liked the space. My wife said it was the worst pulled pork ever. My burger was very clearly a Costco frozen patty. A little bit of a let down overall

Good eats, and decent prices. EDIT - I have a pet peeve about folks who park in handicap spots that do not need it or have a tag. Red Truck has non tagged vehicles in handicap spots everytime I've been there. And to top it off, I arrive for lunch and a black Porsche owed by the owner of the establishment is parking in the a handicap spot. He is not handicapped and did not have a tag. Nice example...

The committee to the brand and the place was consistent with what you would expect. Bourbon blackberry beer was great. Overall though, I'm just not into trucks. Their bathroom sinks were great though.

Never would have thought but the fries are GREAT here! Grilled cheese (it s actually a melt) was also excellent and filling. Ordered a flight of beer with the helpful guidance of their staff and loved every single one. Their sours are perfectly sour, I had to order a pint. Prices are very reasonable. Music is a little loud but I loved the atmosphere. You definitely can only chat with the person next to and across from you. Fun place!

Me and my colleagues come by here once a week for a nice lunch after a run or bike ride. As we were sitting and eating by the kitchen on one Friday, I overheard a girl and a guy in the kitchen making some fairly unflattering remarks about our appearances because most of us were wearing yoga tops and pants. Our time could have been better, but I do not see ourselves coming back for a while.

This is a lovely place to have a couple of beers with friends and enjoy the sunny patio in summer. Proximity to the bike route is a plus. The best part is the recent addition of Golden Ale to their beer offer. I only hope it's going to become a staple.

Naturally, the highlight is the Red Truck beer on tap. The food is somewhere between pub grub and carnival food - good if you're looking for some salt to balance the beer, but not haute cuisine. Long tables are good for groups, and the prices are decent. The live music was wildly overamplified the last time, to the point of being painful, but that may have been a one-time issue. If you like Red Truck, there's no place better.

The brisket sandwiches are amazing. This place is a little pricey but it's totally worth it if you are feeling like a treat once in awhile.

I've also tried the chicken tacos and bacon cheeseburger. Both were great!
