Really friendly bartenders with a good selection of beers to serve up. No bar food is out of this world but the food at this pub is pretty decent and will satisfy a late night craving. Cheers

When I visit my sis/ bro-n-law and my favorite 2 nieces,we usually migrate to the Shamrock . It s always a great time socializing/ hanging out. The staff always exceeds expectations

Stopped in for a drink after lunch at Area 41. Very cozy Irish pub decor and friendly, attentive bartender. Nice glass of chardonnay reasonably priced.

The Red Shamrock is a great venue. Friendly customers and staff. Great food and drinks.

SO SALTY!!! I know this makes you drink more but it really ruins the food. My husband's burger and my nachos were so salty. This included the chips and the cheese on the nachos. Atmosphere not bad but very loud. Not revisiting.

Good pub, bartenders are on top of it. Food is good pub fare. Live music can be too loud for the space.

Nice little neighborhood bar. They now have food which was decent, but be prepared to wait a while for it. Typical bar fare. The place is small and can get loud and hard to even speak to people - that is even before the live music begins. Basically plan to not attempt any communication while the band is on. Lots of TVs with sports on. Is quite small and gets pretty crowded and is basically filled with local regular bar fly's. I go there if friends have a get together, otherwise would likely pass and go somewhere else.

Let s just say, don t come here for food or an experience. When I came in, I seated myself and waited about 10 minutes until someone had noticed me. When a waitress finally helped me, I asked her for a lemon water and a menu. She brought my water out and forgot the straw and lemon. When I asked for the lemon and straw, she went back and got the a straw with her BARE hand and stuck it in my glass and forgot the lemon again. I then ordered the 10 piece wings and a side order of french fries. While I waited for my food, my server was at the bar taking shots with some of the guests and was very unattenative to put it lightly. It took about 25 minutes for my food to come out and when it did, what I got was 10 of the smallest wings I have ever seen in my entire life and a plate of fries. I then asked for a to-go box and a check. When she brought me the check, I saw that the wings cost a hefty 13 bucks and they charged me an extra 7 DOLLARS for the side order of fries. I waited another several minutes for her to pick the check up while she continued to drink with the guests and eventually had to walk up to the bar to pay myself. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Jake is the man, makes a awesome old fashioned . Will definitely be back!!

They have changed owners and no longer are an Irish pub. They do serve food, but not what you would expect. The name is the same despite the change in menu.

Good time and great people. Brooke, Heather, and Jake are the best bartenders in town! Would absolutely recommend this place on Friday and Saturday for live music and during the week for the happy hour (2-6pm)

Had a great time watching Auburn Tigers basketball.

The Red Shamrock is a meeting place for friends from around the area.The owners as well as the clientele are very good and genuine people who enjoy to laugh and share each other's company in a very comfortable setting with some of the best entertainment available in Birmingham. Come and see for yourself! They have a very handsome Santa that comes and visits from time to time.

We went in for some drinks and snacks after working across the highway. The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We will be coming here again.

The owner here is a great person. He also fixes some great food, what else could you ask for.

We went to this bar because some friends of ours were playing. We had never been there before so we gave it a try. It is a nice friendly joint and the people there are very welcoming. The drink prices are average amongst bars in the area. We did not try any food here on this particular visit. It is well worth going to check it out.

I like this restaurant! They serve marvelous dishes, their menu is varied, The cook in that restaurant is a specialist, I like very much tasting all their dishes. The food is always of high qualtity, the service towards the clients is helpful. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Pretty cool place for the locals to go and hangout without the big crowds of downtown Birmingham and some of the places on 280. 4 stars for cigarette smell and not a huge beer selection
