First time here and was impressed with the staff and food. Highly recommend!

Great place to eat and relax, either indoors or outdoors. Great service, great food, outdoors sand volleyball by the patio. Relaxing environment. I don t often give five stars, but this place certainly earns five! Fun ice cream place right next door, and kayaks can be rented at the lake quite nearby.

Pleasant atmosphere, fantastic food, friendly staff! Definitely top of list.

The food is great and the service is second to none. The craft beer selection always features local favorites for everyone's tastes. Check it out if you are in the area.

The food is great, the ambiance is warm and cozy, and they have some of the best staff.

This place has killer food and great service. You haven't lived until you've tried their lobster mac and cheese. Fun fact they have a sand volleyball court that's free to use sometimes people gather on Thursdays to play.

Fantastic service and delicious meal! Host was the only one in the four years since an accident left me having multiple surgeries on my foot to observe the cast and crutches and offer a spare chair for me to put my foot on. Superb service didn't stop there! Our waiter was extremely attentive and gregarious without being the least bit overbearing. Short ribs are nothing short of amazing! Wish we lived closer - but we make it a point to dine here when we are passing through. You should too!!!

I love coming here for brunch! I love their unique menu. They have great drink specials since I m always up for trying something new.

Although the food is always decent I was very disappointed when I got a metal piece in my food and they offered to give me some more food but everybody was eating. I would have been sitting there with no food and they never came back and said we're really sorry here's dessert on us or we're really sorry we'll take your meal off the bill... and when I brought that up to who I believe is the owner now nothing was done unfortunately I will not be revisiting and everybody that was at dinner with me was very disappointed with that response

Food was fabulous (minus it being garlic forward, I am not a big garlic fan) and the service was just as good!

We sat down for 22 minutes exactly and not one wait staff attend to us, very poor service

The waitress we had was great. I don't remember her name. She was very professional right on top of everything we might have need.

Great place to eat and to hang out at the bar. I went in with a friend who lived locally and several staff said "hello" when they saw him.

I had their chicken bacon wrap sandwich. It was great! Frankly, it was almost more than I could eat! They also have entrees, "large plate" selections (which are quite generous), and an excellent selection of beer and wine.

I recommend you try the Red Rock if you're in the area. The service staff is excellent and prices are outstanding for what you get!

True hidden gem! Great atmosphere and great waitress Meghan! This was our first time here and we love it! The food was delicious from appetizer to dessert. Also great drink specials and dont forget to try the chocalate cake truffle!

Great food, drinks and atmosphere if you don't have a food allergy. Be very careful if you have food allegies. I went for brunch and ordered a special. I asked the server if a specific component contained wheat which I'm allergic to. It did so I ordered an omelet instead. My plate was brought out with a biscuit (contains wheat) and there was no staff around to ask if the rest of my food was safe to eat. Everything turned out ok but it was not enjoyable worrying if my food is safe to eat.

Red Rock Grill and Bar has the best cuisine in town. The quality of the food is exceptional! I love the lobster Mac and cheese or the Korean BBQ crispy chicken wrap. The Tilapia with wild rice is wildly delicious and fresh! The mussels with white wine and toast is out of this world. This is a true hidden gem in a small town of Upton. The chocolate peppermint alcoholic drink is a great addition to an excellent meal. I can t say anything bad about this place.

Kind of pricey but good service more like a three and a half star.

First time coming here after seeing this on Phantom Gourmet.
We drove past this place even with GPS. You really have to have a keen eye and,really be looking to see this place.
When we got in we were told our server will be right over. We waited & waited. Finally The bartender/server asked us what we wanted to drink.... now mind you he was talking to us through. a small area where The waitresses walk up and get drinks for other people. Anyway, we order drinks and an app. Spinach artichoke dip. Dip came out quickly, which The owner delivered, she had a little but if an attitude. No smile or anything. She took our food order. Not our server. The dip was good, a lot of butter/oil. The bread served with it was good but not grilled like it states in the menu. Our server comes over and asks us what we wanted. Advised that the woman took it already. No communication in this place.
Get our food, burger, & pot roast. Served by the other owner not our server. Bar tables are not big enough to fit the oversized plates they serve. Food was good. Atmosphere to enjoy the food not so much. Loud!!! Especially in the tiny bar area.
Overall, place was ok.

Terrible service, and the food is not notable enough to come back for - they try to hard to be high end and upper class "hipster", they would have more luck if they dropped the pretentious attitude and served up burgers, fries, and ice cream.

I have had many good meals here in the past. I ordered a Korean BBQ wrap last night and it was awful. At least I paid extra for fries which were the only thing I could eat even though they were extra salty.

The waitress was great. The bartender was wonderful.. and the food wasn't bad..

The Sunday brunch is to die for. I don't know how this good of food ended up in Upton, MA! Honestly a local treasure!

I really like this place. Small but very comfortable. Our waitress was very attentive. Our food choices was. Braised Short Ribs, Meatloaf. Flanked steak. Meatloaf and Ribs was very good. Flanked steak had a good taste but was over cooked and tuff. They seem to have a problem with slippery floors. Very strange, to the point someone could get seriously hurt.

I really want to love this place, but I only gave it 3 stars because the dining room is WAY too cramped and loud. They have too many tables squeezed in. They have a decent menu, but I often find myself not able to decide what I want. The lobster mac and cheese is delicious, but I don't get it every time. The popcorn is great too. Lots of people like Red Rock, but I don't consider it a favorite of mine.

Feels like home everytime you visit. Ways new items and drinks on the menu, and Hospitality with a capital H.... put it on your must visit .

I have had great food every time I have been here. The staff is friendly and know the menu and can suggest entrees if you are unsure. Indoor and outdoor seating, clean bathrooms, and ice cream right next door. There will likely be a 30 min wait, as do most great restaurants, so factor that into your departure time.

Yes it can be crowded sometimes but there's a good reason for that.....this place consistently hits it out of the park. Great atmosphere that adults can enjoy while still being kid and dog friendly.

Excellent food and service. Flank steak special was delicious. Rest of my party had the salmon which everyone loved. Really cool atmosphere- will definitely be back!
