This place stands out of time. It is a hole in the wall to Austin as it once was, before the exponential population rise. An inexpensive time capsule with inordinately friendly staff and service. Sit at the counter and find aid in believing that life is a little simpler than you thought. But don't walk in expecting gourmet food and white tie service, that ain't what this place is here for.

Not good.. the chicken fried steak tasted like it was frozen. The food left a horrible test.. burgers were not good either. They only serve wheat bread. Gravy was bland.. will not go back. The only reason i gave the 2 stars is bc of the wait staff. Really loved them

The food here is nasty and unseasoned. I order steak ,eggs with a side of harsh browns and toast. The steak was chopped steak, it tasted like a hamburger, it was very dry and it had no flavor. On the menu it did not mention it was chopped steak which is false advertisement. Also I asked for scramble eggs, but my eggs were over easy. The hash browns were unseasoned. Don't waste your time or money on coming to this place.
