It's a very challenging Pete Dye designed golf course. The course was in good condition though the sand in the bunkers is getting a bit thin in spots. The director of golf was manning the proshop and very friendly. Good course.

Had our wedding here. Venue was very nice and day of staff was great. The planning process with Lorie was terrible. She could not reply to all on our emails even though asking multiple times. She had to revise the event order over and over and has no attention to detail. She tried to charge us for things that had no price in the contract and then gives us a story about how she has to pay her vendors (should have properly written the contract) and then we had to call someone else to get the fee taken off. Last minute she decided to tell us about all the Christmas decor that was never mentioned during our multiple visits there, phone calls and emails. Night of the wedding she completely dropped the ball and forgot to close the bar for 30
minutes (when it was her idea) to close it for the grand entrance and then they tried to close the bar at end of night early. After a long discussion they finally kept it open after we told her that we would contact upper management. Long story short the venue is beautiful, service staff was great, food was very good but Lorie was not. We hired a day of coordinator and thank god we did and didn't have to deal with Lorie the whole night except when she messed up.

I just want to say Scott in the pro shop best service I have ever received in 20 years at any course I was scheduled at painted hills at 720 I know I am at red mountain ranch ! I show up and am wondering where my group is he mentions that I might be at the wrong course he then arranged a ride for me to get to the right course 3-4 miles away my mistake of course with the help of Scott and fellow employees I was able to make my tee time with old friends on time what service this was amazing in this day and age of trunk closers I also spent 2 days playing the course to prepare for my match and was most impressed with the layout you want a test this is it every club in your bag will get hit I guarantee it ... this is not only the best course I have played this season (so far....) I will recommend and return thanks Scott.

Staff was great! We were there for a small get together. The menu was pre-ordered and was okay. Ordered 3 drinks at the bar and gratuity was added to the bill. I noticed that after the fact. Check your bill!

From the moment I walked on this course to the moment I left was a great experience. Perhaps my favorite I have ever played in my life. Love the layout, the way they treat you when you show up makes you feel like some kind of professional or something. Lol it is in competition with Arrowhead Golf Course in Colorado. As a neighbor here at Las Sendas I will be visiting a lot more often.

One of the most underrated courses in the state. Course was in great shape other than the almost concrete bunkers. What can I say, it's a Pete Dye design which is always challenging! Definitely worth the $33 I spent! Will not disappoint!

What an amazing desert course. I'm from out of town, never played a desert course before. This course was awesome.

We played in May 2017 and the course was in amazing shape. Tee boxes and fairways had great conditions. Greens were so fast. I've never played on greens that fast. For the price, I think it's just amazing. There are a few picturesque holes.

The grass range is really nice too.

This course is not easy. The fairways aren't very big and the greens are the toughest I've ever played. The greens are small, well protected, and tiered. The course is a challenge, but I had a blast. I normally hit driver all day, but I decided to play the 3 wood just to make sure I stayed in play.

I would highly recommend this course.

I played the course and ate in the restaurant two days in a row recently. The course is challenging, with narrow fairways, and greens well-guarded by deep bunkers. The scenery is fantastic and the course is well cared for.

The food at the restaurant was really great. I had the spicy chicken sandwich the first day and the Philly cheese steak on the second. The sandwich was good but the cheese steak was really great. I have eaten at the classic joints in Philadelphia and the cheese steak here is just as good as any. Tons of cheese and a small mountain of steak...yum!

Overall, a neat place and the handful of members I came across were very pleasant as well. Will definitely come back.

My family and I drove from north Phoenix to play, ...

My family and I drove from north Phoenix to play, scheduled a tee time at 8:30am. Arrived at 7:15 and was told by Scott the "golf course director" that due to "mother nature and that he has no control over frost" that no golfers on the course due to frost delay until 10:00 am!!

Mind you, we drove an hour, received no calls to advise of late starts! Then Scott proceeds to lie through his teeth to us, stating Longbow and and Painted Mountain, both just down the road all all closed due to frost.

Scott, you straight lied to us, because we called those courses and they said you were aware that they were actually open without a frost warning, you called them prior to our arrival!

So to do the math, if all golfing were to start per you at 10am then an 8:30 am start would be after the 7am golfers, so around 12 perhaps?. What a joke! So Scott refuses to bend, refuses to have cart path only, because walking on the grass kills it too!

Scott, are you not aware that this course is not the TPC who btw were open this morning at 7, so was painted mountain and longbow! Are you aware of how much money you pushed right out your doors because of your inability to use your head...the winter grass is pulled in 3 months anyway?!!!

Scott was rude, unaccomodating and failed to use any forethought into putting out a customer who drove an hour...how about calling people on your list?

I'm sure those people overseeing this location would be mortified to such decisions by such an incompetent fool such as Scott running this joke of a show!

We met then at painted mountain just 4 miles from here and met with James and his staff. Painted Mountain staff and James quickly apologized for Scott and Red Mountain for their lack of customer service and concerns we were facing. We were quickly put into carts, and were golfing by 9:30. Quality course, gave us a great price and continued to check on us throughout the day. Man, a place well all go back to for sure.

If it were up to me, I'd fire Scott for his inability to make sound decisions and money, he'd be lucky to oversee fiddlestix or castles and coasters.

A very classy place, they have several amenities and the staff was amazingly courteous. The view is unlike any other, overlooking vibrant green fields and a manmade lake. A golf course, tennis court, pool and lounge are just a few of the activities they have available, and the safety, comfort and well-being of their guests is obviously a priority.

We play here quite often and really like the course. It is always in good shape and the pro shop staff are very nice. Went out last Saturday morning and was continuously harassed by the starter/ranger. At the start, we were told that it should take between 4 hours to 4 hours and 15 minutes to complete. I believe there was a 3 some in front of us. Ranger kept telling us that we needed to pick up the pace and that we were a few minutes behind. This happened about 4 times and was totally stressing out the wives. Probably didn't help that they watched us play for 2 holes as well. Even with their interruptions (it wasn't just a quick reminder) we ended up finishing in 4 hours and 13 minutes. Additionally, the group behind us never had to wait. We were trying to plan a tournament here within the next month as we had one last year here. Because my wife had lessons here with one of the teaching pros, I had talked to the pro shop about more lessons. Now, none of that is probably going to happen. It was a very uncomfortable experience and I hope this ranger is addressed.

You need to meet their requirements to play there. Excited to try a this new course since I have passed by it all the time. I looked on their website before I went over on my birthday to play and there wasn't anything about dress code that I could find. I got there and they told me I couldn't play with jeans on. They said dresscode is on golfnows website. I told the man behind the counter I just looked on the Red Mountain website and I didnt see anything about dresscode. He said he doesn't look at their website and it is on goldnow. Realizing this discussion wasn't going anywhere I left frustrated. I called Longbow Golf Course that is close and asked if I could play with jeans and they said yes and I had a blast. Thx Longbow!

Outstanding food. The golf course was in the process of reseeding but was still great to play on. The players club doesn't open until 11 a.m., but worth it when it us open. Great service and food.

We love Lorie! She is so calming and flexible. Wedding planning can be stressful but she makes everything so easy. We are excited to have our reception at this beautiful venue but most of all we like that she is so helpful, attentive and calming.
