This American food Bar has an unique and comfortable decoration inside. I got a great experience from my visit to this restaurant. There are foods such as Short Ribs, Crab Cakes, POrk Chop, Yam Fritters, Fried Chicken, Candied Bacon, Ricotta Toast, Eggs Benedict, etc.

Cool atmosphere, good vibes! Food was very good! Had a great night with my ladies

I don't even know where to begin.
I had to write this review as soon as I got to my destination after leaving the Red Herring .
If the name comes from the idea that you're eating stars here that fill your belly, then take me to heaven!!!

Red Herring was on our list of restaurants to try in LA and we are glad we did. We loved the vibe and decor in the restaurant. We enjoyed the crab cake, although small and not best we've had, still yummy. The skillet cornbread should More

Very cute restaurant, we sat outside. I had the chicken & waffles and my bf had the French toast. We both really enjoyed it! Would recommend.

Vegetarian friendly - but not vegan friendly - so if you're a strict vegan, your money would be put to better use at a different restaurant. I ordered the spaghetti dish which is topped with Red Herring bacon, jalapeno, basil, and shaved Red Herring . Super yummy, 4/5 for flavor + value.

Truly exceptional food and service. In nm ovative cuisine, informed and helpful wait staff, good drinks from the bar. The crab cakes and the grilled whole fish were both outstanding. The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars: it is crazy noisy and the wine list is limited. But this place is really good.

The wait was too long at another restaurant a block away so we strolled into this one. The food was fairly good. Loved the vibes here.
Red Herring

This was a perfect date night for my wife and I and another couple. The dishes and drinks are on the pricey side but you are getting high quality and innovative flavors being out together. It was nice to be able to eat many dishes and not feel full. We got 8 dishes, while nothing was off the charts amazing but each one was unique and worth it. We went for the cauliflower, corn bread, crab cake, shredded brussel sprouts, ricotta bread, pork belly (favorite), grilled mackerel, and chicken liver pate. The Pate came with a well buttered bread, we asked for more to make sure we got all of the Pate. The pickled veggies that came with it were great. Great mood lighting and music. Drinks were tasty and strong. It was nice to get away from the house, fight traffic, and enjoy a night out with friends. There is a parking structure across the street, street parking, and valet is $12.
