Addictively fun camping. We have a mobile home on the slate. Playground could be improved and expanded a bit. With an air trampoline, for example. Facilities are very good. Recreation program is very extensive, especially in the season. Recommended!

Camping de leistert indicates that it is a family ...

Camping de leistert indicates that it is a family campsite.
Unfortunately, all amenities and facilities have been removed for older children who I think also belong to our family.
The disco is gone just as all other kinds of animation are in their way.
The older children visit each other at the place and after 23:00 are forced to go to the reception where security can keep an eye on them.

Camping de leistert indicates that the sanitary facilities are cleaned 4 times a day.
If you can clean a complete toilet building in 5 minutes.
After complaints, the big boss came together to see that it had not been a corona test for a week.
Td and CSU got turned upside down and the cleaning became longer !!! done.
Only the CSU was still suffocated with their disco from the bluhthoot speaker and mobile.
Of course, the Break but also continued during the cleaning.
The first cleaning is always precise during the morning rush hour.
You should already have the first cleaning ready for the morning rush hour so that everyone can shower undisturbed in the morning

The Corona rules when swimming are not monitored at all.
Both inside and outside it is 1 large ant nest.
The pool supervision has the stitching pressure on everything but the things they walk around for.

The shop is also a big mess in that small shop, there are far too many people so that they never stand 1.5 meters apart.
When I go to get a few sandwiches at the campsite, I lose an average of 12.
If I cycle to the lidl heijthuisen for the same number of sandwiches 4
The sandwiches at the campsite are probably made of gold.

The fryer is also life-threatening
Very often the food is just raw.
The campsite has closed the old chip shop and took care of it in another building.
At least the firm of Manders from the village knows how to prepare everything, but they still had to leave so that the campsite can put all the profits in its own pocket.
Unfortunately with very bad food and long queues as a result.

We come to this campsite purely for our older children because not everyone wants to drink their teeth in another country.
These young people have known each other for many years and are looking for their own entertainment on or outside the campsite, because if it is up to the campsite, these young people will be in bed with the 10-year-olds at 2030h.

We had a large space with private toilets for our tent. Private bathroom was great. Nice and spacious, with storage space and dishwasher. The playgrounds were easy to see and very appealing. The indoor playgrounds were okay too. The mini market had everything you need.

We have booked here for the second time. With small children aged 1 and 4. Specially a more expensive house near the indoor playground. Unfortunately it is closed. We have therefore specially booked for this. Because child 1 is in bed then, we can enjoy playing indoors with child 2. Fortunately, they have solved it well at the Leistert. Thank you for that!

We were in a house with 2 adults and 2 children, a house for 5 people. With sauna and hot tub. Very spacious, beautifully cared for. Relatively new appliances, combi oven, dishwasher, .... In short, nice holiday, definitely recommended.

We visited this park and Buitenhof in general for the first time at the end of March. We spent a weekend here with friends and rented a very expensive 6 person VIP house.
Because of Corona there were unfortunately significant restrictions, so we would have preferred to cancel, which unfortunately was not possible (or only with 90% cancellation fee). We still had a few nice days, but would like to see the park again when everything is working "normally" again.
We had a holiday home type 6 VIP, No. 264. The price was significantly higher than for the normal houses, but we wanted to treat ourselves to this luxury exceptionally.
The house is detached, has a huge garden, two parking spaces and two floors.
There were a total of two toilets and two bathrooms, one with a sauna and a bathtub with a couple of jet jets. Two bedrooms are upstairs, one with a solarium.
On the ground floor is a large kitchen, dining and living room, which has been designed very modern and appealing. The kitchen was completely furnished, nothing was missing and there was even an oven, a panini maker, a (somewhat outdated) Weber electric grill, washing machine and a great gas fireplace in the living area.
The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout, but unfortunately our rating here is still poor. Because of Corona, there were significant restrictions in the park. The entire newly renovated center with the exception of the large shop was closed. Cancellation was not possible free of charge, rebooking only for a high surcharge and the only compensation we received was a few free WiFi codes for the weekend. Here we would have expected a little more - especially as VIP guests - and unfortunately our rating was correspondingly poor because we could not visit and enjoy the park in full, although we had to pay the full price.

We have had a fantastic holiday again. Of course there are always points for improvement and improvement, but all in all we look back on a fantastic holiday.

Pros:
A large campsite with many facilities for children from 4 to 12 years old. Swimming pool and swimming pond quite good. Playground (tjes) enough and the comfort spots are ideal with smaller children (play equipment on the field). Many children on the campsite and quiet in the evening, except for a single screaming teenager. Great food in the plaza and a supermarket with an extensive range, a bit expensive but the Jumbo and Plus are nearby. Friendly staff and helpful.

Points for improvement: During the high season, the availability of showers is less. There are then too few for the size of the campsite. Hygiene could be better, but is sufficient. Sometimes people drive quite fast on the campsite (depends on the drivers).

Had a great week in the Leistert Lodge (6p)
Park is large and there is more than enough for children to do. Swimming pools and playgrounds (both indoors and outdoors) look good.

Supermarket is very expensive. Likewise eating out in the park. The activities that are done are spread out in the park. It is poorly signposted and you have to search with a map. You are obliged to go with your child because otherwise it is too far away and your child could get lost. It is also not useful if you have several children. You cannot divide yourself into 3.
The dog shower is also available, but not animal-friendly. Washing your dog with ice cold water is not pleasant for your dog. Your dog may not come anywhere except the field for caravan with dog and the dog field. There is a nice piece of forest near the pond where you can walk. But not allowed.
Playgrounds for the children are great fun.

Certainly well suited for families with children, not recommended for us pensioners, much too loud. When we were back outside after visiting the restaurant, we first breathed a sigh of relief. There are better recommendations for older people!

When we were there there was a market and kermisje.
Large indoor swimming pool with slides toddlers pool deep tub hot tub.
Outdoor swimming pools with all the trimmings.
