Very good but the beds could be a bit bigger than they are

Great hut. Delicious dishes with normal prices. Very friendly and attentive staff. Great location with breathtaking views. Well worth the strenuous climb in any case. Nearby you can almost always see ibex.

A nice DAV hut. Friendly staff very good and plentiful food. There are even two showers with hot water for a fee. The bearings could be a bit wider. There are no beds but only warehouses.

Cosy mountain hut atmosphere, with good food and nice arranged 'matratzen lager'. Hope they don't build more houses there, let's keep it remote .. so the ibexes keep their stay over there.

From the hut you have a great view of the surrounding mountains and the Mindelheim via ferrata. It is the ideal starting point for this. The staff was friendly and the facilities and toilets were clean. I always like to go to the hut.

After a strenuous climb we were welcomed very nicely in the hut. Hut is clean, good food and very nice service staff.

Very well located alpine hut with good food, fast service and bed storage for the night. There is also a fee for showering. The view is fantastic in the surrounding mountains. A very good starting point for hikes and mountain adventures in the area. e.g. the Mindelheimer via ferrata.

Super fast operation. Great hut atmosphere and good deal with the guests.

Quite normal hut regarding Dormitory and food. Food is good, but not terrific. With the number of sleeping places, an extension of the sanitary facilities would be good, v. other showers, which may also be completed or at least separated by sex.

Fortunately, the MH is left in peace by the masses of the Heilbronner Weg, a good destination for the ascent from Kleinwalsertal, otherwise everything is very professional and good.

I really liked the cabin. Grandiose sunrises on the doorstep. Rooms and beds huts are ok. Is not a hotel. Everything was clean and mattresses quite comfortable. Landlady friendly and helpful. Food delicious and price level also ok, hut prices. I can not complain. Was a beautiful stay

Beautiful hut, of course, but I lacked the warmth here. That's why I didn't feel particularly comfortable.

The beds were nicely done but unfortunately you could not enjoy it as well as you are with 26 other people in a too small camp.
The food was excellent, however, the conditions were terrible! Very rude and bitchy towards women and very charming to men.

Beautiful cabin of the DAV, which is hosted with lifeblood. For the night there are bed storage and two showers. Great starting point for many tours.

Very disappointed. After we were totally knocked out for 11 hours (instead of the specified 5) for the Mindelheim via ferrata. Arrived there at 7 p.m., the boss did not want to accommodate us. In front of the whole bar she loudly complained that we would deliberately pass our problems on to her and that we could have relegated to Austria !!! No. We couldn't. It would have taken us more than 5 hours and we couldn't go any further anyway. It was getting dark too. We are 56 and 60 years old.
After a good meal ... that's why the star ... she threw us out of the restaurant at 8 p.m. ... to entertain the other guests ... took a tip and sold us a mattress dorm for 24 euros, Alpine Club, 2nd Pesrsonen. Then she assigned us a place under the table in a dirty passage room. There she had thrown two very thin sleeping mats stained with paint.
The night wasn't good.
We didn't expect a room. That wasn't even an emergency camp (5 euros). Because even then Mateatzen would have been part of it. Mattresses were free en masse due to the incomplete occupancy due to Corona.
Possibly. we would have also paid a fee for extra laundry.

Rooms not heated, no shower, cold water.
So the hut awaited us when we arrived frozen and soaked.

The drying room in the adjoining building so that there was a choice between "walking barefoot through the slush" or wet hiking boots.

Dinner was ok.

Bedroom is good - we stayed in the 8 bed room.

Simply great. Food impeccable. Operation top. This is how it should be in a hut.

The mattresses were horrible. The hot food was great, the breakfast too few choices and too expensive. The way to the hut is demanding, the view magnificent.

Great cabin, very friendly staff and great food. The ascent from Oberstdorf over the Fiderepasshuette is really nice. A great view of the valley. At the weekend, the hut is mostly fully booked.

Spent the night in front of the via ferrata here! Great hut - I enjoyed the terrace at sunset and as a reward for hiking there was delicious cheese spaetzle.

The southernmost alpine hut in Germany - always a pleasure. Here is fresh and delicious cooked. The staff is friendly and courteous.

Nice cabin with friendly staff and good food. Great view on the terrace where you can eat and drink. Selection is very large compared to other cabins.

Reservation of Matrazenlager ran without problems. Hut was fully occupied at the weekend in early July. Staff friendly, although so busy. Shower room for improvement: the cash machine for hot water was set spicy and it should only thrown dry coins. Give it a try, if you are currently soaped. Breakfast in several variants was possible, was ok.

DAV hut. Also possible without reservation overnight. Very large, still quite comfortable for these conditions. Super hot shower! DAV food for 8.00 . Was good and a lot.
