We hired Rebecca Grabarczyk in March 2020 to list our 10.85 acres of vacant property in Manchester, Michigan. Covid hit and without a doubt it changed things up in the real estate world. Granted this is vacant property for sale so nobody had to schedule a walk thru like you would do in a home. During the months Rebecca was dealing with some personal issues and she made both myself and husband aware. The problem is this..There were weeks that I would not get a response back from her..via text, email or phone call. There were times we questioned the price of the property..She put our original asking price almost double of what we paid for it and the only things we did for the property was get permits pulled to build "septic" and have 3.5 of the acres cleaned to build. We invested just over $10k in those items. Over the months "once she finally responded" thousands of dollars.
With all the times we could not get her to.respond to us, I will ALWAYS question how many potential buyers went unanswered as well. I feel like we literally wasted 10 months having it listed with her and Remax Platinum.
Today was the last straw..I reached out to the Office Manger about my concerns. She said she was going to reach out to Rebecca "and originally going to lower the price again..That we have asked Rebecca to do for over a week with ZERO response. "
After speaking to another agent whom we used to sell our house in Farmington Hills, she sure explained alot more to me as far as getting the property advertised to a far bigger area than it is now. We UNFORTUNATELY are under contract until the end of December of this year. But we absolutely will NOT be going back to this agent or office. I did not even get an apology for the absolute lack of communication. Piss poor business that I wouldn't send my enemies to.
