I found a house in Ringwood that was just right for my family. My realtor called Annmarie Garcia to see it since she was the listing broker. We were told to wait 4 days until the first open house. At the open house, Annmarie was rude and unhelpful. We submitted a full list price offer that night because we were closing on our home in one month. When my realtor tried to reach her, she told him to stop calling her because she was busy. On Monday night, after 9 pm she emailed him that the owners needed until the morning to decide. Then she didn't return calls all day on Tues. she finally told us that there was another offer. The next day, she said we were in a bidding war. We submitted an offer and had to wait a full day longer to find out that they went with another buyer. We believe that Annmarie was unprofessional and very rude. We were very qualified buyers who had been through a lot already. She disrespected us and broke our trust in realtors.
Pat Cornett is a TRUE gem. The entire team is full of Fantastic and Honest agents. This group is very knowledgeable and they make it comfortable to work with. I have and will continue to recommend to my family and friends.

I had a very upsetting and unprofessional experience with an agent from this office. I was working with an agent from this group on commercial lease. Despite the fact the listing was hers, she was not terribly knowledgeable about the process of leasing commercial space in this town - which is very involved and complicated, and involves hearings and legal representation on behalf of the business owner. Communication was poor throughout, information was sparse, slow coming, and incorrect. When I finally received the lease paperwork, the information in it directly contradicted what she told me previously. Before I even had a chance to get to the truth, I received an abrupt email, not even a phone call, curtly telling me landlord was not moving forward. Now I'm out a few hundred dollars on lawyer fees, a credit check and no space for my busy retail business a couple of months before the holiday season - with no explanation or communication why. While I understand deals fall through all the time, what I do not understand is why I was not given accurate information and why my requests to get some clarification are being dismissed. I posted a similar review on Facebook regarding this situation after my requests for more information were ignored by the agent, and was told by their marketing manager I'd be receiving a phone call from the broker with some more information and possibly some clarification on this situation. Its been 3 weeks and I have yet to receive any communication from anyone at the office. It seems that I'm being deliberately ignored by this agency which speaks volumes about the type of company this is and how they chose to conduct business and treat clients. This was a terrible experience and I'll be steering clear of listings and agents from this office while I continue my search.
We bought our current home and sold our then home through Jolie Schoffelen and she could not be more pleasant to deal with. She is a consummate professional and very timely and responsive. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell in northern Bergen county.
