Best martial arts dojo in Florida! Know them since 18 years. My Sensei Matthias Botthof took me there to be tested. Really nice group. Miss them since i saw them last time in 2008. Calm and peaceful atmosphere.

RDCA is an all encompassing experience for children (and their families) where they not only learn martial arts but also make friendships with like minded children, become a part of the karate family, and most importantly, are guided on their spiritual journey, where they are taught values and morals. My children attend classes throughout the school year, Friday movie nights at the studio, and summer camp among other activities offered.
This studio is family run and the warmth and love is felt from the second you step in.
So grateful to have our children learning and growing in this wonderful place.
I would recommend RDCA to both adults learning martial arts for the first time and parents looking to put their kids in training. The sensei s are great and they love what they do. They care for the people they teach and make sure not only to teach martial arts but also self love and patience. I had a great experience while I was there and recommend to all!
Our family has been part of RDCA for more than 7 years and I have to say we feel blessed to have them as part of our daily lives, not only my kids love to go and don t want to miss one class, but also they are the best in teaching martial arts, karate, self defense, and more. RDCA MMA is an incredible dojo, with over 20 years of experience in it's field. Many of the staff members them selves hold state titles in Martial Arts, so you can rest assured that your child is being trained by the best and most experienced out there. The sence of comrodary and friendship that your child will gain as a result of these classes is infectious, he or she will truly learn to bond like a true family with her/his classmates. The children develope trust, discipline, and enter a state of beter well being, both physically and mentally. The Academy of Martial Arts is not only the ultimate black belt experience but it is also the ultimate experience for life. More than learning to fight and defend myself, I have learned to evolve as a person, take a journey inward and redefine myself for better habits, a healthier lifestyle and more confidence.
Being a part of the dojo has been one of the greatest experiences in my life and I am grateful to Sensei Robert, Sensei Derek and Sensei Morgan for all they do.
My little brother went to this dojo MANY years ago. I always stayed with him (as per my mother's request) and watched his class. He was a CRAZY kid with hella ADHD and everyone had trouble containing his very large personality and excessive energy. The instructors and Sensei at RDCA were the only ones to nurture his spirit and try to channel his energy into something more productive and effective and they genyinely cared about him. It was always clear to me how much they care about ALL of their students and that's a great quality to have. If I ever have kids, I definitely want them to study martial arts and literally cannot think of anywhere other than RDCA for that.
This is an absolute gem of a place. A family business that has touched the lives of its community for so many years. Robert, Derek and Morgan are truly extraordinary human beings as well as remarkable instructors. They have built an amazing team over the years and they care so much for their students. My son got his 2nd degree black belt in this academy. Not only he was taught karate, but Sensei Robert imparted ethics and morale as well as life skills. Initially at 4 years old, it was hard for him to focus and maintain the physical coordination, but now his discipline and strength are good!
The instructors strike the right balance of discipline and fun. They are respectful, positive, and patient with kids.
The classes are well balanced, combining technique with fun drills including obstacle courses, that make the hour exciting and educational for kids.
The belt progression is well structured and documented, with bite-sized stripe levels so that kids can feel proud of their progress every step of the way.

I couldn't be more grateful to have my older son in this Academy, soon to be joined by his little brother. RDCA MMA has been my second home and family for the past ten years. When I started I was a very shy and timid girl, they welcomed me with open arms and were able to transform me in to this strong (mentally and physically) independent woman. They helped me get over almost all of my fears and led me to have the confidence to be able to reach for so many goals and taught me how to give my best and work hard towards accomplishing them. I grew a great bond to all of the Sensei's as each of them has given me wisdom that I will always carry with me. Sensei Morgan has been almost like an older sister to me, giving me the best advice as I had been growing up while also keeping me in check and teaching me how to kick butt. Sensei Derek has taught me many life lessons, mostly in the way of pulling me out of my bubble and giving me leadership positions, which helped me grow as an individual. And sensei Robert just radiates wisdom, so many stories :), he is such a vibrant person to be around and a great person to learn from.
My time spent at RDCA has led me to lifelong friendships and was/is such a huge part of my life that I couldn't imagine myself not being a student there, I will forever be an RDCA MMA black belt.
