This place is a scenic view and the food amazing. We had an event there and you didn't feel the cold, it was quite warm and toasty. The staff was great at clearing the tables. Overall the experience was fantastic

If this course was located off ridge rd or anywhere near it with the other courses, it wouldnt be $78 for a round without question. Great otherwise

One of the nicest public courses in New York State. Played today on a cooler, rainy day in October. It was still in excellent condition. Fairways were good despite wet conditions, and the greens rolled well. I look forward to playing this course again. Challenging, but reasonable. Facilities are very nice.

I have Celiac Disease, Severe IBS, and a few other food intolerances, so finding a venue to meet my needs was a long and scary process, but Ravenwood was willing to make me a CUSTOM plate to my EXACT needs with no hesitation. We booked immediately after meeting with Jennifer who was so professional and helpful, she guided us through our options, answered MANY of my emails, and continue to do so. Her other team members, Marissa, Lizzy, and Amber are all prompt at replying to my questions or concerns.

Made me not feel annoying or neurotic ever, and was SO on top of her game! She simply put,is a powerhouse, a beast of a wedding decorator/coordinator/boss! The attention to detail, was impeccable, the room looked more beautiful than I EVER could have imagined. Every girl dreams of their wedding, I actually never did, BUT this was better than anything I could have ever dreamed of. And the timeline, she made me feel at ease, and how IT TRULY DID JUST FLOW - LIKE SHE SAID IT WOULD!

Nice fairways and tee boxes this late in the season. Greens decent. I played 1pm on a Tuesday weekday and gave up on the 11th hole. It was ok pace the front nine, but then I had so many slow groups ahead I was looking at the longest round of my life. I just walked off the course. Money wasted. I shudder to think what the weekends are like.

Best public course in Rochester..hands down. Jim is probably the most friendly head professional around.

We held our Annual Kiwanis Golf Tournament here and the staff was very accommodating with all the COVID safety measures. Very nicely done, and it's a beautiful course.

Some greens are a little rough, but overall the course is on great shape

Went here for an indoor-outdoor wedding. Great venue! From your air-conditioned dinner seating you can see the waterfall and terraced wedding garden out the open wall of the dining room. The dance floor and bar are open-air on one side and covered by a nice wooden structure. The golf course provides a nice surround with worthy vistas, picturesque wedding party photo ops, and gazebo overlook. Throughout the changing light of summer afternoon and evening the views were pleasant. The good weather made it extra nice, but the design of this place would mean it works well in case of rain.

Great venue for medium sized weddings. Great background for wedding ceremony. Food was solid. Bartender mixed drinks were very limited. Even when paying for top shelf. Friendly staff. Incoming/outgoing golfers were odd in the hallways.

Holy Smokes! Rarely will i get a chance to splurge on a round of golf this expensive ($49), but this was worth even single penny. Brother and I tee'd off at 6:27am to an open course that was in pristine condition. Everyone working in the clubhouse and on the grounds were extremely friendly to us both. Unlike other clubs, they did not start people off the back which was nice, as we could keep our round moving right along. I couldn't think of a single suggestion for this golf course- it was an absolute delight to play here.

Attended a pharmaceutical company sponsored dinner. Food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Beautiful place.

Really a great course. Love to play here. GPS on the carts makes it easy to play. Pace of play was good also. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Refreshment cart was seen frequently, which was nice on a hot day. I shot well for me even though I stepped back one set of tees. Highly recommend and will go again. It is pricey for golf around the Rochester area, but worth every penny.

Course was in great shape considering the amount of rain we've had this Spring. Will definitely return!

Not much left here basspro is keeping the mall alive. There is a new rv show area though. Hopefully that will keep it going. Don't forget to visit BB pizza

Greens in need of some attention tee boxes and fairways were good. Wanted to get food when done at 345 guys said had to wait 5 min no food was ready to go grills off.

My wife and I took three 1-hour lessons with Lauren. My wife had never swung a golf club. I am super rusty and needed reminders on basic technique. Lauren was fantastic. It was a great introduction for my wife and refresher for me. I highly recommend lessons with Lauren!

Such an amazing course! The clubhouse is a palace, the staff is unmatched in their customer service, and the course itself is by far the finest public course in the area. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place. Was there for a wedding and reception. Decorations and setup were gorgeous.
Only downfall was I believe the meal. Majority of it was good, but the Chicken French needed to be cooked just a little bit more, was borderline not done. We're quite a few that way, not just mine. But I'm not deducting any points for that because they did have an open bar all night

Nice wedding event space. All three weddings I attended here had family style dinner. All food was good and cooked correctly. Only at the first wedding did the server get upset when we asked for more just after her telling us that we could have more. Besides that one little incident staff and service were excellent.

Never played a course that let a twosome out at the turn (in front of us) behind another twosome! We were waiting on every shot anyway....this just made it worse!

Ravenwood Golf Club is a lovely place for a group to hold meetings! The facilities were excellent, friendly, and very clean. The food was very tasty too!

Course has come a long way under the new ownership. If you haven t checked it out lately - you should.
