This school has had a rough history, but will probably be getting better with the new leadership that is coming in.
My entire middle school life was made complete because of this school.
As the founder and director of a mental health practice in Northern Virginia and a clinical psychologist, I am frequently asked about boarding and military schools by parents. Randolph-Macon Academy is on the top of my list and has been for many years. The school is top notch academically and it does an excellent job preparing young men and young ladies for life in terms of teaching and instilling leadership skills, social skills and shaping character. Keep up the great work RMA!!! Michael Oberschneider, Psy.D Founder and Director Licensed Clinical Psychologist Ashburn Psychological and Psychiatric Services
The school sucks. The dorms are torture and the Dorm CLS are mean and stupid and need to retire. Do not send you children here.
anywhere is better than hargrave. do NOT send ya kid to hargrave
I graduated from RMA in 1994. I still have fond memories of this school. My experience at RMA was very positive and learned several life long lessons. Definitely worth my time.
The education is amazing compared to public school but they talk about having healthy food options which I find to be not true they have tea for all three meals sugary waters and fatty deserts 2 meals a day RMA should serve better food
Graduated from RMA and had a wonderful experience. Really helped me develop skills for the rest of my life.
Excellent institution dedicated to developing knowledge, leadership and character students. Builds a solid foundation for young people and sets them up well to excel at University.
