Rancho Cordova Police Department Review

Jaja. No way! People at this place have a really bad attitude. And racist, if you are not white. Don't even stop by because you probably get handcuffs and put you in jaill.

Just spoke to an officer named Kevin about a concern from a Fair Oaks resident who had been accidentally routed to an Illinois housing resource (where I work) rather than one in California. Kevin listened carefully and took down all of the information and is contacting the Fair Oaks office to do a well check on the gentleman that needs help. May their fellow officer lost in the line of duty yesterday rest in peace.

Besides the immaculately clean lobby and well manicured landscape, the Officers whom run the front counter are very knowledgeable with regards to state and federal laws and very helpful with respect to questions about their community. I give them an A++ .

Everyone here that I've met so far is very nice and helpful. The office is very clean, although tucked away and hard to see from the street.

A friend of mine could not get through on 911, it was busy. He called me because he felt people were trying to break in. I saw the situation and stayed in the area until the police showed up. I had ANOTHER person call 911 and she reported the same thing.... busy tone. Eventually she got through and shortly the police arrived. They did a great job of containment of the area, since they were not sure what to expect. I was treated with respect, even though I could have been considered as part of the "activity" I was treated as a normal person. I have stopped and thanked some of them for their service and again a positive response.
I have been visited at my house and again, treated with respect as if we were neighbors. I feel GOOD and SAFE just to see them cruising around.
As a retired military (60 - 79) I am HAPPY to have them on board!

Called all day and no-one ever answered. Left a message and didn't get a call back. Ran over there to get answers and the doors were locked at 4:59. Very irritated right now

The place not easily visible from road. Waiting time was unreasonable. The pace here seems to be a crawl, I wish they'd respect people's time.

Twice I have needed the assistance of this Department and twice I have been treated like crap by this department. If you are in trouble and this department is your only resources, good luck. Two call, four offices and let me tell you, rude, lazy and unprofessional.
