I will say we did not have a wonderful experience but decided to reach out to the manager and express the issues we had experienced. She was attentive and helpful at wanting to correct with what happened with further staff training. I believe in second chances and continued training. Any business willing to listen and understand without blaming others or making excuses I will always give another chance. Attitude is critical and I do appreciate their effort to please the community.

I loved my dinner. Jamar is an awesome waiter. Very. Informative and went out of his way to make sure we were happy!!! Great suggestions. We can't wait to have our Key Lime Pie with coffee for dessert...back at the hotel. Too stuffed now. The Swampmargarita was wonderful.

Great food and friendly staff. Jamar is a great server and would highly asking for him.

We went to the one in New Orleans thirty years ago and had the fried soft shelled crab then, which was awesome. This time we were celebrating my 72nd birthday and my brother's 71st. I ordered the crab and shrimp stuffed bell pepper which was wonderful! My husband and sister-in-law split a medium New York strip steak meal and I had a bite and it was juicy and flavorful. My brother had the Shrimp Alfredo which came out in a huge bowl, but he ate every bit of it! Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and when she found out we were celebrating birthdays, she brought TWO of their house specialty desserts of praline bread pudding( on the house) which was rich and divine! The atmosphere was great and it was obviously popular with almost every table and booth occupied. We will definitely eat here again!

Food taste was very good but service was below par. Several orders were wrong and some items had obviously been setting under a heat lamp and had formed a "skin". Server seemed new and did not know menu or what beers are on tap. Food runners coming to wrong table with plates of food.

No reservations were allowed so the wait for a table was 40 minutes. However, the food and service were great. Only 4 stars R/T wait time.

The Best seafood I've had in a while. Very friendly environment and our waitress Jaime did not have us waiting long at all. Best customer service in a long time. The wait is well worth it.

I hosted a dinner there for a party of 9 after calling and confirming they could handle it. We sat for 30 minutes without drinks and it went downhill from there. Neither my salad nor the appetizer came out before the dinners so I canceled both. The appetizer came after we had finished eating anyway and the manager on duty made a big deal out of comping it. My daughter's meal came after the rest of us had finished our meals and we had all shared our food with her. We tried to cancel it but the manager said she really wanted her to have it and that she would discount it. Was not going to argue in front of my elderly parents so we waited. And waited. When the check came, the late dinner was discounted 10% basically $2 off. It all could have been forgiven, but charging for the meal that came after the other dinners and no one wanted was an epic fail. Formerly my go-to place on I-20, I won't make this mistake again. The food was good but not worth the hassle.

My only reason for not giving 5 is that my wife and I feel like the fried oysters should have a lighter batter on them, like the fried crawfish tails. Other that that? The food is awesome and the staff is so friendly and energetic! It was my birthday yesterday and I had always wanted to go eat there. I was not at all disappointed. I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely go there again.

One of my all time favorite seafood restaurants. So many varieties of seafood and a great selection of steaks too. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
