Raleigh's American Pub and Grill Review

Cool people behind the bar. Service can be a bit slow and tacos are hit and miss but the vibe is good.

Certainly a good place to be: very near to Berkeley university. Expensive at 165 us$ per night and there is no breakfast.
The bathtub was not fancy but very practical with movable water hose.
The esthetic is set in the 60s, 70s (time of the movie "the graduate"). But i did not like it that much: face it modern phone are much better than old ones.
No electrical plug to put your computer. You have to unplug something. This is 2020: Do they expect visitors to come without cellphone nor computer.

Great wings and friendly staff. I come here a few times a months where I share a salad from Mezzo next door with some wings from Releigh's.

This place was our FAVORITE spot in Berkeley years ago. Super chill vibe and awesome outdoor area. The BLTA with the fresh bread from next door was amazing. A few years back it burns down. Huge bummer. Last week noticed they reopened!

Sadly, it is not at all the same. Very hipster vibe, terrible seating layout and the shuffleboard table totally blocks a few tables making it awkward to use. They also removed my favorite menu item so that's lame too. I'd still eat here if I happened to be in the area but we used to take a trip to Berkeley just for Raleigh's. Not good enough for that anymore, sadly.

Delicious Sandwiches, salads, and Burger. Good service and beautiful spacious outdoor area which creates a pleasant ambience.

This Classic Old Tavern has changed from a Tavern into a Modern Upscale Pub & Eatery. We ordered The Bacon,Swiss, Avacado Burger w grilled Onions & Mushrooms Medium-Well. And it came out w an order of some Tasty,Spicy Fries. It was So Good , Hot & Delicious w lots of Hickory Smoked Bacon(4pcs) It was "So Fkg Ono! " Only $9.00

Refreshing variety in its beer selection. European styles are well-represented by both European breweries and American homages, but a few respectable and trendy IPA styles pepper the menu, too.

Raleigh's has retained a lot of what they had before the fire: great pub food, a fine selection of adult beverages, and a lovely back patio. And of course, it's still a great place to watch the game (whatever the game may be).

This place has an amazing patio and beer selection. For food, I would recommend the Superfood Salad with the B2C2; both are delicious!

One of the best happy hours in berkeley if you are a beer fan. Food leaves a little to be desired but it's a nice atmosphere and staff are great.

Great atmosphere. Service is okay. Pretty tasty appetizers. Pretty clean as well.

Tip to management. Cal games are going to be busy. One bartender out back and two up front is not enough. People like beers on football game days

This has been my family's favorite restaurant for 30 years, and for good reason. The beer is great, and you can grab salads and sandwiches from Mezzo. Friendly service, too

The classic Berkeley pub is back after rebuilding from a fire.

Vegetarians: don't even bother! There is one thing on the menu, a salad, that is vegetarian, and it's pretty pointless and bland, with an icky-sweet dressing. I can't speak to the meat-laden stuff but it all looked pretty boring.

Good selection of beer. Not a very diverse food selection, hard to find vegetarian options.
