Rainbow Hotel & Casino Review

Very nice place, great buffet the only bad part is the smoke smell at the casino.
Needs more air flow or deodorant to block it.

Most everything is fine here, except the buffet is closed too early. Rooms are excellent, especially for the prices. I stop here every time I travel this route. There are no major complaints. Actually I love the place. I could complain about the slots but that's the chance we take. Actually it's all good.

Buffet was to expensive. $28. Wow not on Friday night ever again.

Rooms are well appointed but I would rather not have a sauna that doesn't allows airflow. Red glass doors & windows into casino cause odd lighting and are repellant. Disappointed they do not have room service! Rooms in West wing are quite far from casino and restaurants. Restaurant food was not great and service was slow. Wait staff had to be reminded to bring requested items both times we ate here. Buffet was good with many choices.

Had a great time, one of the gentlemen walking around noticed I was having problem with my mask, he asked me if I was ok I told him I have copd and it's hard to breath and its giving me a headache. He got me a shield right away , that is like night and day, I was able to enjoy the rest of my time there and my headache went away. Your staff is wonderful. Machines not so I didnt come home a winner. Lol

Went to the lounge for the live music after having dinner at another property. The bank was great! It was heroes of rock and roll . Good song selection and the voices of the lead guy and lady on keyboards were very good. The keyboardist also played horns- highly talented. The lounge is pretty and spacious, central in the casino, and drew a fun crowd. Lots of dancing and good times!

Sports book bartender was not very great. Whenever I asked for something, he seemed annoyed and would make the incorrect drinks (vodka soda isn't made with Sprite, nor with Tonic). Also, the cafe was less than accommodating. After we waited 15 minutes to be sat, we waited an additional 30 minutes before getting up to just walk out. Nobody came by our table. Nobody dropped off waters. Nobody said 'be right with you'. We were either forgotten, or just straight up ignored. There were many open tables, so it's not like they were slammed. At this point we decided to leave and go stay at The Montego. *The service there was night and day different (in a good way).

Love their mongolian grill and the snack bar. Seafood weekends are more expensive and not really worth it in my opinion but when you ride the bus and get your meal for free the rainbow is my buffet of choice

Rodney Carrington was awesome. Great venue, first time there. I'll be back again.

We stopped for lunch and a beer and it was great. Food was good and the service good as well. They have a decent draft selection with some tasty beers.

It's a nice casino. The hotel is nicer than the actual casino itself. The rooms are beautiful and The buffet is pretty good and not over priced.

I usually like this place, but the smoke smell is getting really bad and I feel like they start to care less and less about keeping the rooms clean. I find hairs in my bed and the bathroom walls have stuff on them.

While playing the craps table, the worker had attitude and was very rude. He made it an uncomfortable environment.

If you can add "pets welcome", it'll be a 5 star from me.

Very bad experience all the time that I have gone and not treated and the staff is not pleasant as always and I would not recommend it. To hurt this place ..

Have always loved the Rainbow, but the seafood buffet has declined, while the price has gone up!

Its was fun I enjoy win something would have been greatly.

The steakhouse lobster bisque maybe the best in the world. Dinner was excellent. They gave my wife creme brulee as a birthday present, awesome.

Rooms are 1 star but the casino is decent. Live band and a sports bar with lots on.

Service was good. Buffet was 3 stars but seafood was 2 star. Most games are in good shape some aren't.

It was a great stay. I find the flow difficult though. You can't get to the pool from the West wing unless you walk outside to the other side or through the casino. The signs are slightly misleading. There should be more than one way to get to the convention room as well as more signs to guide you. The slots are not loose. We usually have pretty good luck in casinos but I only won at roulette.

Very nice place if you like slots service was great machines seemed to get tighter as the night went by had a new halloween game very tight slot game i would not sugguest playi git at all put alot of cash in it never got bonus seem to be for the house to make cash

Love this hotel and casino. It has both old and new slot machines. Love the comps!

Room was great. Casino its self is terrible. Have to track down a waiter. Or wait 20 mins at the bar for the bartenders. Went to use the free cocktail asked the bartender for some thing good for the voucher and he hands us a Sprite. Hotel front desk customer service was great everything else was a poor experience.

Expensive but nice room pretty sure not sold out, haven't been able to find a machine that doesn't just eat my cash it will be a long time before I come here again

I stayed overnight, played some games, ate some food, drank some cider, and slept comfortably in the room. It was great!

About what you'd expect out of Wendover. They provided exactly what was advertised.

It was nice. The buffet isn't was m what it used to be, but still had food that won't make you sick. Best bloody Mary's ever!! Don't play the slots on a weekend! You'll leave all your monies there. Would recommend to stop by though, just don't stay too long

Rainbow Casino in Wendover Nevada was a very nice Casino. We met a few friends to watch a football game in their dining area. Several large TV screens to watch the games . The Bar was centered in the middle of the dining area. If you wanted food the restaurant was less than 30 feet away, you could place a to-go order and they would call your name when your food was ready to pick up. The Nachos were amazing!!!

This place is always great. The rooms are wonderful big and clean

It's a nice looking hotel and the rooms seem clean and comfortable. The bed leaves something to be desired and everything seems a little over priced. The buffet is really good and I would recommend the Mongolian BBQ. We had breakfast at the Primo at around 6am and I have to say that the service wasn't that great, we waited for a long time for our food in an almost empty restaurant and when it finally got to our table out was by far the worst biscuits and gravy I have ever had.

Got a mini suite for the weekend and was super impressed with the room, nice comfortable bed, awesome jetted tub and clean room. Didn't do much gambling on this trip but the staff was really nice and very friendly

Great location, great relaxing rooms, service also great, steak house is delicious... great times..

Beds are SUPER comfy!! Caution: don't sit on them b4 going to gamble or you'll be late getting to the casino floor cause you'll fall asleep. Staff is nice and helpful and slots are fair. Love this place

Had a fun time, but felt like I needed to take a shower everytime I looked around. I understand the casino's are on the dated side but god damn pick up a duster and CLEAN. GROSS
