Radisson Blu St Julians Review

Hotel aged, the photos do not do justice to the current state. Disappointing.

A great hotel in the immediate vicinity of the sea, a beautiful wild beach nearby

Where do I start? Amazing amazing amazing! The staff are ridiculously pleasant and well mannered. We were here for three nights attending a wedding and also using the opportunity to celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary. The hotel made us feel special almost instantly. Our room was upgraded to a beach view and then on our last night they upgraded us once again to a room with a Jacuzzi/hot tub on the balcony. I was in shock and literally ran up to the room whilst the wedding was winding down to make good use of it. 5* is definitely more than deserved here. The facilities are clean, impressive and boast a world of luxury I would happily have paid more for. You are well catered for during the buffet breakfast, cleanliness is a continuous theme throughout the resort and reception staff are knowledgeable about the area and guest expectations for their stay. The wedding was amazing, complete with fireworks and a delicious menu. We may have to revisit for every anniversary now, an even better reason to stay married!

Rooms are ok, standard Radisson quality, breakfast is ok but nothing special, SPA area is of poor quality, there are two tennis courts with magnificant views but they are very poorly maintained. Overall I would recommend this place if you are not using SPA and not looking for tennis courts as the quality was adequate to the price

Extremely nice hotel, very beautiful. Very convenient and relaxing. The spa is great and The Bridge resteraunt in the hotel has amazing food. The buffet in the other restaurant is so-so. The breakfast buffet is worth it though. The only reason its 4 stars is because we did see a cockroach on the floor in front of the entrance to the resteraunt (not by the food) on the 1st floor (buffet restaurant, cant remember the name). We told the concierge about it and she shrugged her shoulders and said it happens in Malta. This could be true I'm not sure, but it was a bit disturbing.

It's very old and need maintenance but we paid 98 including breakfast so it's fair I guess

Visit Radisson blue very often. Always a pleasure going there; whether at Bridge,the kontiki or at the bistro.

The food didn't have much flavour but the staff were very helpful. The rooms were great and the beds were comfortable. Overall, it was great, but not quite 5 stars.

A very reasonably priced hotel in a great location just a few hundred metres walk away from St Julians. Nice and quiet and well equipped rooms. We had a Nespresso coffee machine in ours which was a nice touch. The outdoor pool was always busy with no spare loungers so we wandered to the sea and went swimming in there instead. I would recommend this hotel and we will more than likely stay here when we visit Malta in the future.

Very nice and large hotel, nice rooms and very good food. Pools are amazing and the view is absolutely stunning. Wow! Secret tip: if you want you can go to the pool with a water slide at its side and go swimming into the sea through a small ladder. The fish are amazing, I would recommend bringing a snorkel and glasses cuz it is really really great. The hotel is one of the best on Malta and if you book here it will almost be a guaranteed wonderful trip to Malta! Also it is located in a City full of partying people, so if you want to party you have to walk 400 meters and bam! If you want to go out eating at the evening you also have to go ~400 metres and you will find beautiful bars and restaurants, although the city is mainly focused on party there many nice restaurants

Excellent location by the coastline. Superb food at the Bistro. Abundant buffet breakfast. We did not try the outdoor pool as it December.

We booked a room with sea view and a balcony. The room was clean and nice. The staff was great. Lots of restaurants nearby

But above all, the view from the hotel is great.

Really good hotel. Not new, but with excelent conditions. Club suite is really nice with a hot tub on the balcony. Indoor and outdoor pools also available. However, you need to walk a bit if you want to reach restaurants/bars outside the hotel.

Day at the pool: We spent a day at the "Blu Lido" of the Radisson Blu Resort for 35 / day and person. So this review is only for the daily offer and not the whole hotel.


The food is okay, but not outstanding either. Price / performance ratio is simply not right here. I expect more from a 5 star resort. Every Austrian park and outdoor pool has more to offer ...

Good hotel, location and friendly helpful staff. Gave us a free muffin anf bottle of wine for our birthday. Pool was shut during February which was quite disappointing. Indoor pool was fine but the Jacuzzi was cold and they could not turn it up

A bit cold during winter, definitely a summer place. Right at the rocky shore, you could maybe swim here if calm sea. Hotel itself is great, you can switch off the airco. Love it.

We love this place, recently refurbished, friendly staff, great views.
Lots of pools, gardens, spa, great food and very comfy beds. 5 star Indeed.

Great hospitality,rooms are clean and nice,breakfast buffet is always nice-loved the Maltese sausage,just 4or 5 mins walk from the nearest bus stop,eateries located just at a few mins walking distance.We booked sea facing family room,so the view was just so lovely.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location.
Wonderful staff. Very clean, well equipped rooms & pretty much every need catered for. Great breakfast with many, many choices...& restaurant food is delicious!

The hotel service was very good.

The food was good for being a hotel however it was not the best value if compared to better restaurants in town.

One less star. Gym has no much option. O e thread mill, one bike and one cross trainer in a cramped 10sqft. 5 star hotel cam do better. Staff, facility other than gym, dinner and breakfast 5star
