It's never good news to have a radon test show that it exists --especially when trying to sell your home, but RAdata has done everything possible to remediate for us, and make the home safe! Matt, the service person, and the staff at headquarters are terrific. We are very happy with them.

As a realtor, I work with contractors all the time. SEAN from RA DATA installed a radon mitigation system in my client's house. I was there for most of the installation. Sean was prompt, professional, courteous, neat and a pleasure to be around. The system was installed efficiently and with out problems. I would HIGHLY recommend.

We had a wonderful experience dealing with the staff at RAdata. Mike Heller took the time to explain the issue and remediation procedures. He was patient and understanding while we got additional quotes and information. The install was seamless! We are very happy with their services!! Rohan and Shilpa Kranti

Well water testing revealed need for corrective action. I appreciated the professional customer service and the friendly, professional and efficiency of the installer and the electrician. My compliant / suggestion for RAdata well water remediation is when an electrician is needed. Although the estimate indicates an electrician charge if needed. I was frustrated and annoyed when I learned an electrician had to come out to install a closer outlet. No problem, except when you are selling a home and closing date is approaching, the last thing you want to hear is about a 2wk wait for the electrician. Permits and approval are required for this work. The system was working day of installation(10/15/2019) via a surge protector with an 8ft cord. RAdata got an electrician out sooner than the initial date offered me, which was great. Permit approval on 10/25/19 . So my recommendation for RAdata when gathering information they ask for the measurement of the closest electrical outlet to keep the whole process running smoother. Bottom line all worked out well.

Disappointed that after the treatment plan was completed, there was no clearance bc the township can t check until it is closed All worked out ok Folks were quite courteous and completed the job in a timely fashion Couldn t believe rules had changed so much in the two years since we bought and try to sell the house

Had no prior experience before with this situation. All I folks I dealt with were very helpful, professional and thorough. Finished job was cleaned-up and very neat. At the end, pleased to learn that they adjusted estimate to actual lower cost. I would highly recommend them.

RAdata Inc. was great from sales to installation. Sam was competitive in his pricing; Ryan and Pete did a professional installation and were excellent in describing the challenges with my particular installation. I have some knowledge about air flow dynamics and was appreciative that they took the time to explain the issues in detail before they started the work. They were honest. Sometimes hard to find in a contractor.

This company is the most professional in the business. Very focused on customer satisfaction and safe living conditions for families living in homes. Knowledgable about environmental issues regarding radon in the air and water treatment. They treat you like family and make you feel important which is rare in a business or professional organization in 2014.

EXCELLENT!! Customer service was phenomenal. They responded very quickly to our needs based on an imminent closing date. They also were able to fix another issue quickly and easily. Price was much less than we anticipated. Highly recommend!!

We contacted RAdata about installing a water treatment system in the home we recently purchased. They provided us with a detailed quote that outlined the cost of the systems (substantially more affordable than another company we contacted), as well as how the systems would function, future maintenance costs, etc. They were able to get us on the schedule quickly (within 2 weeks of providing the estimate - the other company we contacted told us it would be at least a month before they could get someone out). On the day of the installation, their technician arrived within the estimated window and efficiently uninstalled the old treatment system and got the new one up and running quickly. So far we've been very pleased with RAdata and will see them in a year for maintenance service!

Had radon system installed in our home in finished basement. Outstanding service and work from beginning to end. Lou in the office and Tom and Rob at the house explained everything in detail. Work was done timely and professionally. Would definitely recommend them to my friends.

Well, they certainly want their money right away... It was a referral with a little bit of a discount. Cool. The appointment set up went smoothly. I got a call to fins out there was a crawl space that needed to be cleared out so they could finish the work. There would be no kind of price break on any of that. OK... so I get a call from the billing dept. The credit card didn't go through. I told them I thought they had taken a deposit and that the whole amount was above the fraud prevention limit. (Been getting hit with A LOT of bills from different people which is causing a cash flow issue in the account so i got flustered at first but then realized what had happened.) My mistake. So I tried to work it out another way. Could they take part today and part over the next day or two? NOPE I told them I'd send a bill pay. They said it must be overnight-ed. I explained to them this was for my dead brother's house and I would prefer not to pay $25.00 to overnight something. NOPE I told them that I haven't had one other company in this whole process of dealing with my brother's estate, how I have to pay things and them be unwilling to work with me. It's not like I wasn't going to pay them, I just needed a couple pf extra days for the check to get there. NOPE The supervisor got on the phone and told me I was being unreasonable. Did I get upset? YUP. So, being the unreasonable person I am, I've sent them their check (minus the work they were billing me for that they hadn't even done yet) which they will have suffer a couple of extra days to get. I get it, I run a business. But a piece of advice, not working with someone in an unusual situation is NOT the way to garner goodwill with people.

Quick, professional, and personable service. Explained what was going on and was able to quickly overcome a few quirks we ran into as the system was being installed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for radon remediation services!

I was able to make all the arrangements for radon remediation on the phone. The manager explained in detail the entire process and answered all of my questions. Cost was discussed and agreed upon, and a schedule set. More than sufficient information was sent electronically for my consideration, as well as the initiation for contract. The tech arrived on time. He was professional, courteous, neat, and I found out by observation, a crackerjack mechanic. And to boot, He worked as efficiently as anyone I've seen work. The finished installation was neat, unobtrusive, all lines plumb and level, all joints neatly and completely sealed, and the test 'draft' for evacuating the sub-floor gasses surprised me as to the volume displaced. The fan is as quiet as a mouse! I received great warranties on the work, equipment and performance. All in all, a very positive experience. I unconditionally recommend this firm for residential radon remediation. And I would strongly recommend them for all types of remediation beyond my immediate experience.

I would give them no stars if I could. Before we bought our house in 2010, the home inspector told the old owner they needed a Radon System in order to sell their home. RAData unfortunately improperly replaced the sump pump that had a 30' hose that pointed to the street with their own and capped the sump pump with a huge protruding lid rather putting in a proper inset lid with a drain for a floating slab basement. Their excuse is that they only carry one kind of lid. So we had them install a drainger in the floor that they never connected to the channel around the floating basement that I didn't want. It also stood up 1/4" out of the cement floor and he charged my wife $80. To fix this, I asked them to come out modify their "not so floating slab basement friendly sealed lid" that lets any water in the sump from above & install a drainger in the lid and take out the old drainger out of the floor. Their amateur hack worker nailed 2 Pine 2x4's in the concrete to hold a piece of plywood with a drainger in it. Pine rots when exposed to water and moisture, anyone who is experienced in buying wood knows that. They charged me $390 for a crappy job. I called and his supervisor right after he left and the supervisor had to come out & fix his mistake. He gave me a hard time about fixing or taking out the $80 drainger that was sticking out of the floor. He chiseled it with his power tool to make the lip of the hole lower instead of filling it with concrete to the way it was. He had an attitude and snarky when he was done by saying, happy now? A year later, we had an issue during hurricane Irene. When the pump was installed before we bought our home from them, it was never tested. It had not run all year because of a lack of excessive water. The water pumped out OK, but the pipe going out of the house is sloped upward where the water is staying in the pipe exposed to the elements outside. Water was leaking in the basement from the gasket on that pipe & that is how I noticed. Water as soon as it was pumped outside was coming back into the basement just feet away near footer at the same time the pump was active. On, May 2, 2012, I called the owner and insulted to me over the phone with his snarky condescending tone after I drew them a professional looking diagram of the problem and how it should be fixed, he called it a silly drawing and said the whole office had a good laugh when passed around. Stupid Jackass! The owner believes a 20 inch long pipe coming out of our foundation sloped upward and pointing at our neighbors house instead of the street is standard, meanwhile the NJ EPA says nothing about restoring to what you disturb, but because of the lapse in code any company has to go to National EPA Standards instead, which says if a company disturbs other functions of the house like a sump pump with piping to install a Radon System, they have to put the other functions back to the way it was. They didn't!!! The pipe should have been 20+ feet away from the house and not 20 inches they call standard. They want the customer to pay for their mistakes and take advantage of first time home buyers like us who didn't pick them to do the Radon System, the old owner took care of that. RAData refuses to come back anymore if any of their parts fail. I corrected their problem with connecting the 2" pipe out of the foundation to a drain pipe I installed underground to my downspouts and had Professional Plumbing and Heating fix their improperly pitched pipe out of my wall to slope downward out of my house. Stay away from RAData!

Do not leave your home with this company installing the system. I left the tech behind after I was given a quote over phone . Which I told them I had a water proofing system Installed and base board material was used in system. Tech gets to home explain he might have to seal this there might be an additional charge. I said call me before doing anything more the. What the contract was. I come home see him in basement caulking base boards. I asked him why I was not called ? He stated this would not pass the town inspections for permit. There was an additional charge of almost 500 dollars. Then my carbon test to retest failed I was charged an additional 18-19 dollars. There was never a permit pulled or required. Tech lied to my face.

5.0 star rating 11/13/15 RaData (Sam) and his technicians did an outstanding job advising, explaining, and installing a radon mitigation system for us. Sam invested the time needed to help with the decisions that needed to be made. I very much appreciate the quality of the work, attention to my concerns and the care taken. 5 Stars without reservation!

I was close to my closing date to sell my home. We failed our water test due to bacteria. They came and installed an ultraviolet light in house by well tank in two days. Water tested again and past for drinking water. Closing date postponed just 1 week. I highly recommend RAData!

The two men worked well together, the job did not take long at all. The only problem I had was one of the men asked to use the toilet of course I said say. The problem I had is he didn't flush, maybe in his home they don't flush when it's only #1 and that's ok for those who believe it's not necessarily needed, it my home it's WE FLUSH

All the staff that I dealt with at RA Data were super efficient, friendly and informative regarding all the procedures. I got calls the day before confirming the appointment and also got a call from Rob letting me know that he was on his way the day of the project. Again, both were very polite and friendly. Rob was very polite, knowledgeable and explained what he was doing. And everything was cleaned up well after the project was completed. In talking to all the different staff members, I had a definite sense of confidence in this company and would highly recommend RA Data to anyone who needs the types of services that they offer.

I am up in the air on RA Data. They have good procedures and processes in place to offer a great service. I buy and flip houses for a living so I have used them several times. I have always been happy with them. When I bought the home I live in, it was determined that I would need a radon system installed and I knew who to call from all my past experience. So, I had a radon system put in May of 2013.. Around 12/20/15 My system starts making a whining sound. I called RA DATA and they sent a technician the next day! The technician came out and diagnosed the problem as the bearings went bad in the fan unit. Great... Its under warranty... Why then do I have to pay $180 for a service call? Not a good way to do business. DO you get charged when your car is repaired under warranty? NO. ITS NOT RIGHT. I called and talked to them but they stood by their position of... It's the fan companies warranty not theirs. Thus the fee. They have disabled reviews on their Facebook page, so I commented on one of their posts about this and they deleted it.

Matt, the technician who installed our radon mitigation, was very profession, polite and courteous. He ran into some obstacles that prevented him from installing the unit where he wanted, but was able to find another way that worked. He explained everything he was doing and why.

RaData was great right from the start. We are selling our home and was quite surprised to learn our home had radon after a 30+ year history of no radon. I called RaData and three person on the phone was very kind, he could hear I was not thrilled at the prospect of having to have this done. We made the appointment which was 2 weeks out since permits were needed. They showed up on time and were incredibly respectful of the COVID regulations. They showed me what was going to be done and later in the day it was complete. It is not a quick job. The work performed was meticulous and he cleaned up as he went. I sent the retest in and am waiting for the results which I am confident will be just fine. Thank you. You guys are great!

I set up a time for the company to come out and service my water softener.. the phone service was good and the receptionist was pleasant and helpful. She went over time slots and how much money it would cost for the 30 minute service along with the 3 water test prices. From their explanation I was under the impression that I would be spending about $250 for this service. However, much to my disappointment when the time came to pay it cost about $500 due to UV Lights and filters etc. I explained my disappointment that these costs were not disclosed ahead of time as for the fact that they seemed so open and honest about their prices on the phone originally. The gentleman who came out and did the servicing was great and extremely informative.. Only downfall was the expense.

The dudes that came out and installed my radon venting system were awesome. Super nice, down-to-earth guys, with a get it done attitude. Loved em. They also beat the original estimate I was given, which made the whole thing that much more fantastic.

My handyman still insists the vacuum system is not functioning properly or the red fluid in the plastic would look like a "J" and not a U. He is not an expert. So I guess I need to get another Radon expert to validate your opinion vs. his.
