Called with a dog at large complaint 4-27-2019, actually 2 dogs that were harassing my livestock. I had captured one of the dogs and was holding it for evidence while the second dog had left, neither dog had any collar or identification. I recognized the dog as the same one that had been on my property several times before. I have had altercations several different times with the owner of these dogs about trespassing by the dogs and the owner himself. When the deputy arrived, he told me that he had no way to transport the dog. I told him who I believed to be the owner, and a general idea of where he lived. When I tried to tell the officer about the past instances of problems with the owner and his dogs, the deputy told me that he didn't want to hear about things in the past. He said none of that mattered and the only thing that mattered was from this point on. I had also tried to tell him about the dog owner who has been tampering with "no trespassing " signs that were posted specifically to keep him off of the property. This person cut a path through the border fence and continues to use it to trespass on this property, again, the deputy said that he didn't want to hear about that either. This was, more or less, my last ditch effort to get it through this person's head to respect the property line, which he just continues to disregard. The deputy located the owner of the dogs and brought him back to have me turn over the dog to him to take it home. The deputy then carried on with a lecture to me that I did the right thing by calling them but he was not going to issue a citation. I have been extremely patient with this person, and I don't want to waste law enforcement's time and resources, but the only thing that the deputy did was escalate the problem. Now the offender can continue to thumb his nose at the law without any regard for other peoples property. I called because I expected him to issue a citation NOT to give another warning. The deputy also said that I shouldn't take this into my own hands, but when I put it in their hands, they did nothing!

Update: Maybe found out why they didn't want to issue a citation; The offender just happens to be the manager for an adjacent city's water department. Hmmm?

Horrible service. When reporting a crime, the police were told by the perpetrator that there wasn t a problem so the police left, leaving the victims in danger. Police had to be called again in order to actually deal with the situation.

Extremely rude. Will give free life advice assuming they know what's best rather than doing their jobs of enforcing the law. Would not go again.

The clerk of courts had assigned the earliest available date for a hearing. The documents had to be served within one day. A week later, the sheriff s office couldn t provide proof either way that service was successful or not so the court date had to be changed and I ll need to pay someone else to serve.

Pulled over by deputy j arndt, for "speeding" when I was matching the speed of 4 different cars around me, and given a ridiculous ticket. I shouldn't be afraid I can't pay my rent or buy food because an officer needs to fill a ticket qouta.

Worst police department. Literally will pull you over for anything because they are bored and have nothing better to do. Also proceeded to ignore my questions. Crook Cops

Contacted the Racine County Sheriff's Department in regards to a 911 call after being told by another police department that they may have been the department to respond. I talked to the clerk, CRYSTAL, and she was rude. After informing me that they have no records of the call, I asked if she had any idea what location would have responded to that area, and she states"I don't have anymore information for you." and hangs up the phone. You would think the police department employees would helpful, especially in the case of someone placing a 911 call and needing help. Worst customer service ever!!

The retarded statements by the Racine Sheriff after the recent catastrophic f'd up semi crash make me ill--- " people need to obey speed limits and not be on your cellfones" uhhhm NO ding dong--- the ENTIRE project is a hazardous catastrophic cheeztard FAILURE---- unbelievably dangerous, too large in scope . Cheeztardsconsin DOES NOT have the proper engineering and funding to pull this off safely OBVIOUSLY like your masters in Illinois do. Sorry.

They were very gentle and qell spoken when they arrested me. They didnt put the cuffs on too tight and the cruiser was verrrrrry roomy. When i got to jail i even had supper waiting for me. I will definately be getting arrested by them again soon.
