Konrad Krzemi ski dies while Ra Pharmaceutics writes: Thank you very much for your email. Konrad s case is very sad and he is in an unfortunate but not unique situation. I know that the makers of Soliris provide drug to many people free of charge, and I hope that somehow Konrad can get treatment. We will review what can be done. Our status is early and we have yet to treat a patient with our drug (only healthy volunteer studies have been done). While we are confident that the drug can be safe and effective, we need more experience in its use. We are looking into treating patients on a compassionate use program in Eastern Europe and other areas as soon as possible, and I will keep you informed of our efforts.
