Somewhat surprised by the attitude of the staff! Being here on holiday & having a problem with my dog I spoke to my vets who advised me to give him some Piriton which should calm down the skin condition he seems to be developing. She asked me who it was for and I explained it was for my dog on the advice of my vet and was told I couldn't have it!!! So I took my custom else where. I think I'd rather trust the advice of my vet than a pharmacy assistant!

Always super helpful and super friendly. The staff are cheerful, kind and knowledgable and they go out of their way to help you. A much loved and very important asset to Hay-on-Wye - we are lucky to have such a dependable chemist.

Bought some tweezers from here because my nostril hairs were becoming very prominent. The person who served me was very helpful. I didn't realise there were so many different types of tweezers available, even gold plated ones. Got some tapered ended silver ones which were ideal.

Nice pharmacy! Cheerful and helpful staff. Stopped by to buy some gifts.
