Used their free tax filing service yet was told I wouldn't be receiving any refund which I found strange since all the other years I used them I always received an IRD tax refund

In the past there was a woman there a receptionist that was just no good... She would harass me... Hopefully things have changed...

Excellent services here. I've taken advantage of their tax prep, food pantry, fuel assistance and have an appointment to work with a financial advisor to improve my credit. So much under one roof!

I called the center to inquire about rental assistance after seeing that they could help with landlord issues. I received a call back from a woman named Dorothy. She asked how long I had before I was evicted and I told her I was not in eviction but was having problems with my landlord. I wanted to get information before things got worse. She was so rude once I told her I was not being evicted which I found so bizarre. She said she could not help me anymore. I asked if there were other programs I could look into. She tried to rush me off the phone and told me to "google it". I asked if she had a number for HUD which they are partnered with and she told me I could find that online. I could not believe how unhelpful she was and very rude. You would think that they would want to try and help before you get evicted!

This is such a great place! They offer so much help for people, a few years back I had gone to g.e.d classes but could not continue them, just recently contacted them again and the teacher remembered me right away and can't wait to get my g.e.d

My grandson has a voucher and I've been trying to reach Christine (DIRECTOR) for over a month
regarding my grandsons after school voucher and the fact that he'll been going into the hospital to have his eyes operated on .. The first email and phone call was on NOVEMBER 13 , 2015 since then I've been calling and emailing her have yet to hear back from her I find this very unprofessional now I have to take time off work to go sit in the Quincy office until I'm seen . Don't get me wrong the care at the YMCA Old Colony Ave location is fabulous and he loves it there however for the DIRECTOR of CCK not to get back to me at all is unfathomable to me . On her phone message it states better to send me an email and I'll be sure to get back to you ... Well Christine that is not true here it is DECEMBER
21st and I have yet to hear from you . Frustrated !!!! If anyone out there is having the same issue please post let the Mayor know !!!

Lots of different services available to those in need. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable in their particular area. They seem genuinely care and want to help.

I am taking classes here to get my diploma. It's great and they assist with ALL KINDS of things, helping families in need. Ex. Fuel assistance in the winter etc

First time ever having my taxes done there. I had to fill out a lengthy application beforehand. The wait was short. The room that I was taken was a conference room that was crowded. No privacy at all. The volunteer person was new and I could not understand her at times. I did not like being in a room full of people who could hear everything about my taxes. My son went there last year and said he was in a private room. If I go there next year I will definitely say I do not want to go into a conference room full of people.
