After seeing all of these reviews I feared the worst, however I can confirm that, at least in my case, my claims handler could not have been more professional and speedy, settling my claim in full (minus excess) within 3 working days from first reporting it to my insurers (my claims handler first contacted me 2 working days ago).

Completely incompetent in carrying out simple task...

Completely incompetent in carrying out simple tasks withing a reasonable time frame. Continued to assure me I would get a copy of a report and continually failed to provide it. Ended up having to email the directors of the company for a resolution - we'll see how that goes!

Absolutely rubbish company.
7 weeks after I claimed for damage, NOTHING has been done, not even an inspection!!!
Most customers do not see this loss adjuster in the background when paying for insurance, but if you see them anywhere in the literature BEFORE you pay, DO NOT USE!! As another reviewer said, it is better a higher premium!

My first-hand experience of this firm is they are: utterly awful, do not read anything you send, just refuse to take onboard the facts. They work on their own, unproven, conjecture and issue assessments which are wholly defective. PUT SIMPLY, A TERRIBLE ORGANISATION. DO NOT USE.

Absolutely awful, amateurish clowns who fail to respond to emails, rightly described by one reviewer as using unproven conjecture for defective assessments, this company have been useless in dealing with a simple claim and should be avoided at all costs

The fact Questgates doesn't respond to reviews is a testament of their contempt they hold for customers.

I had the unfortunate luck of having this company assigned as the loss adjustor after a home insurance claim with Admiral.

Questgates sent out a "special investigator" and let me tell you, there was nothing special about him. It appears the company recruits individuals who work from home without applying any competency checks.

Long story short the incompetent loss adjustor / special investigator rejected my claim. I escalated the case as I'm more versed with FCA regulations than the "special" investigator it transpires, insurance company finally settled my claim and also paid out 8% simple interest accrued over 13 months thanks to Questgates dragging their heels and causing unjust delays.

Totally agree with the last review - take up to 3 months to review a claim, do not look at all the facts and simply don't pay out! Do your research, and pay more to go to a better company!
