Quassy Amusement Park Review

Went there for an event on the beach but the event itself was rather underwhelming.

However otherwise the park itself is not bad. It instead overly big but should be able to give kids most of a day entertainment.

It is right next to major highway so you should be able to get there relatively easy. Parking can be a little bit difficult since it's not paved and the ruts are rather big

Perfect for young kids, families and for older folks. Ambience is a 100 % @ this place

My kids have special needs and can only go on certain rides. Today, we went on the Giant Slide probably 50 times in a row. I would think the young lady, Stevie P, would get annoyed. Instead she helped them each time, with clear, slow and helpful instructions. My daughter was terrifiedthe first time she went up stevie was so nice and calm with her and joked with her- then we couldn t get her off! It was an awesome day! My only suggestion is the expenses for food and drinks. Extremely pricey for the little we received. Other than that great job quassy! We will definitely be coming back!

It would have been 5 stars but they only have one roller coaster. Small park nothing like 6 flags but if you get there right when they open you will have the chance to go on all the rides they have to offer more than once. This park is gears more towards children than adults. They have an awesome beach front and some pretty cool water rides as well so bring a bathing suit !

My grand daughter loves this park. It's not to big and she loves the lake.

I was pleased with our visit to Quassy. There were about 12 rides my toddler (under 36 inches) could ride, although I had to go with her on most of them.

My family and I went on a day that it happened to storm, got rain pass vouchers for another day, which was great since I was only in CT as a visitor, but wasn't great because the pass was only for a week, which wasn't ideal-for a visitor. But all in all the attractions were fun.

Thank you for sharing this with me. We will not be returning until Sarah is fired and quassy does something about their workers. It s sad to hear you lost the best worker you had at this park. Stevie, we are praying for you and your recovery. And like he said, get a lawyer and sue. It s the only way You can get some justification. My family and I will not be buying the season passes and will be going to where she is currently working. Shame on you quassy.

Very small. But cheap. Good for young kids not teenagers. I wish the bay area was a bit larger. It's very shallow even for a kid. My kids love swimming, but this is not somewhere to go swim...it's just to play in the water.

Nice day.. Just enough.. Paddle boats..kayaks etc.. Nice right on a lake.. Food a bit pricey

My daughter and I have a season pass we love it! I do wish they had packages for smaller families with season passes but other than that we love it :-)

I had alot of fun with my 3 years old lots of rides for her to enjoy and they also have sprinkles and a lake to swim in

I've been going here since a kid it's great bringing my kid here. Fun place to bring the family something for everyone to do. The new waterpark is awesome

The water park is perfect for younger kids but man the changing rooms smell terrible! Even while wearing masks the urine smell in there was impossible to deal with. We went home without changing our wet suits

Went to see firework. They didn't even start till after 10:15. I also know places like this are expensive but we went to get ice cream and couldn't see price. But we ordered 2 SMALL ice cream cones. And I do meen small. It cost $11.50 for these. I almost died. I felt like walking away.

First time here, wasnt so bad, should add another roller coaster though

Great place to being the family. There is no pool, but they have a lake to swim in.

Its a really small place. More like what you would expect a carnival to be. Good for younger kids but not so much for teenagers or adults.

Price is right. Not too crowded (so no long lines) and just enough rides to keep everyone happy, the babies and mommas too cause you get be out of here in about 5hrs They aren't strict and you can take your own food and parking is reasonable, at $7. We went with another couple and our babies had a blast, while the mommas found rides to kick up our feet in and the boring daddies talked business Great park. Try it for yourself!

Really enjoyed the day here. Me and my 6 year old really enjoyed the rides. However; the price of food and ice cream is exorbitant. Pack a picnic intead. $5.85 for one ice cream cone

Just had my sons 13th Birthday Party here on 5/25 and everything was perfect with the event! A little misshap with the food being delayed and mixing up the gluten free food with regular food but it was corrected within 30 minutes. Overall, I gave it a 5/5 because the lakeside pavillion is just beautiful!! You can rent the entire beach area plus a tented pavillion with access to the Volleyball area, horseshoe and smores pit. My son really enjoyed his special day. Most importantly the place is VERY special needs friendly. A few tips for improvement, many people kept wandering in/out of our area. I even had to ask this one rude lady to leave. Maybe a sign indicating that the event is for private parties only. Overall a fantastic day.

My family has an awesome time there everytime we go. The rides,lake and water park entertains my entire family.

We had such a great day! We went on a wednesday when tickets are half price! It was hardly busy and we didn't have to wait on any lines in both the water park and amusement park. The weather was perfect to lounge by the lake.

Great place. Lots to do but not overwhelming either. My daughter and I had a great time. We will definitely be back.

Good, small park with rides and small water park. Also has a beach by the lake for swimming. Paddle boat rentals and arcade also on site.

My family and I LOVE Quassy!!! Not only do we get a season pass every year, but my husband and I also host a big party at Quassy every year as well. The Smile Spot Children's Dentistry has an annual party at Quassy that our patients look forward to every year. The rides and food can't be beat. Thank you Quassy!

Hadn't gone since I was 8, but they kept the place looking good all these years. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Mostly kids rides, but there's enough to keep adults entertained too. And they serve beer and wine so hey, there's that.

This is a fantastic place to bring your little ones. My 4 year old loves it here. So many rides. And the water park is a perfect size. I used to go here when i was a kid too and always had a great time

Lovely place for family and friends they be cleaning around, warm staff, nice food price. I'm definitely coming back to this place

Well, we aren t coming back. we went a few times this summer. Expensive, horrible food but the kids loved the waterpark and the rides, My daughter had a special connection with a couple of the workers but mostly Stevie. I looked up quassy this AM to make sure it was still open bc they start school Tuesday and I wanted my daughter to be able to see Stevie again and we had talked about her being our babysitter through the fall- winter months. Her story breaks my heart, and I am so happy to see Stevie made so many other people s familes have a good time there bc the other workers were always miserable and cranky and disrespectful. We will never be returning, and Stevie please email us. If you remember who we are, my husband is the lawyer and wants to help you very badly. I want to know right now if quassy has made any attempt to call her since she s quit and tried to make this right before she has to involve a lawyer. More so, I want to know if Sarah was fired, I do know the manager she s speaking about because it s the one Stevie ran my daughter to- as we went to first aid when she scraped her knee and the manager didn t care one bit. She was rude, obnoxiously loud about it only being a scraped knee and Stevie shouldn t have left the ride (hot air balloons) even though there was someone there to operate it and my daughter WANTED and cried for Stevie to bring her over. That day I don t know how my kids managed it but they stayed on all the 3 rides on the lake and we had to drag them away but Stevie promised she would be there all day for them . You don t get good, I m sorry amazing customer service like that these days anywhere. Quassy, you made a big mistake keeping that manager instead of an amazing worker. Stevie we are so sorry for what happened, our offer is still out there for a babysitting position. This is my email, your phone number has changed so I m very happy you posted here. We will be emailing you, and promise to pay you well over what the $10.10 you made there. You should ve been making at least $15 an hour there. We will be In touch now. Quassy, you need to fire everyone and start fresh with people who actually want to work there and know how to treat children.

It has plenty rides for the little ones but very few for older kids and adults.

It was fun my boys had a blast. Except I don't recommend small children on the swing ride-. I went with my boys& my smallest was on a swing that was rocking back and forth & the swing was leaning I don't think he was heavy enough to hold the swing down, even though he met the height. It was when we were as high as the ride could go& I couldn't reach him& didn't like it!!! I was yelling to him to hold on, but he's only 5.I would never put him on that again, you couldn't pay me enough.& the operator was a young kid fascinated by the people that walk by instead of paying attention.I hope no one else ever feels the way. I felt. I felt completely helpless while on that ride. Beside that it was fun

Lots of fun for the whole family! I love that there's a waterpark, beach, and amusement park!! I especially love the fact that u can bring in your own food and drinks and nobody makes a fuss about it!

Best amusement park in CT. Best bang for your buck. Low cost for all you get. The Water park and the beach/lake are so clean and everyone is so nice. Rides are exciting and lots of choices for different kids. Park employees are helpful and understand this is a park geared toward families and younger kids. We go here every chance we get. Such a great day trip for the whole family. BEST AMUSEMENT PARK IN CT!!!!
