Quassy Amusement Park Review

What a great place for our kids who are seven and 4

Had a great time with the family! More kid oriented than bigger amusement parks like six flags and lake compounce, so it was perfect for our 3 year old!

Had a lot of fun saved money by going on quarter night

everyone was nice and the rides were all very fun 5/5 would recommend

Fun small amusement park food is ok but the prices are Crazy expensive.

Planning on booking a family get together its okay so far

Quassy is not one of those huge parks like Six Flags or Hershey Park but its a great park. It has rides for those that are little and some rides for teens. Anyways it also has a water park and the rides seem good. It also has a lake and if you want you can rent paddle boats or canoes. Well anyways I recommend going to Quassy and I definitely will come back.

Beautiful park, Huge Beach with the Saturation Station, and Great Scenery of the Lake and the Pavilion. Love the rides, they are nice people and workers. And it's a very clean park.

The new waterslides are really fun. I like the python, it's really speeds up around the turns. It's a nice place to relax and have a beer by the lake while the kids play.

Good ol Quassy! This is a gem located in CT. Small amusement park that is very affordable and never really packed. Friday night is still $0.50 night! Love that I dont have to pay admission

Super fun for kids and adults too. Lots of Rides, arcade , picnic area and the beach makes it a perfect day trip location. Great for large families and groups since you can bring a cooler with snacks and food etc.

I'll recommend this place to any family time out. Loads of fun await you there.

Friendly staff and never the feel of overcrowding. Little wait for most rides and attractions.

Good place to be pricey but needs to replace some old kiddie rides for new ones

Most of the arcades were broken but it took paying for them to find that out. The employees look just as miserable as the attendees. The food had a high dollar asking price but looked much like the poop it turned into later. I asked the manager to refund my arcade card because I had only used it on broken machines. He told me that it was purchased a week prior to my visit, which it wasn't, and claimed I probably found it on the ground. Not only did I have the receipt but I also went and found the employee who sold it to me and brought him with me to be office. The manager disrespected me in front of my 4 year old son and I video recorded the whole conversation on my phone. I guess he didn't know phones have the feature these days because this park is such an antiquated s*** hole.

Very nice small family park.Lines are little to no lines which is great!

We went after 5 on 50 Cent night we opted to get the wristbands which were $16 versus the $0.50 per ticket for the rides it was a great value my girls were able to ride all the rides

Small amusement park, but worth your money, since it has water slides plus roller coaster. During the week there are almost no lines for any of the rides!

Definitely a family amusement park for adults and kids 13 and under... some other teenagers may find some fun. Nice 1st time for me. After 5pm, Half off admission

Yesterday I celebrated my sons 8th birthday with a catered event at Quassys. The whole experience was a disaster from start to finish. In short the staff where not helpful I had people from my party who where charged for parking and shouldn t have been they didn t direct them on where to go and where walking around the park lost. The food was awful the burgers where paper thin and over cooked the chicken was dry and basically inedible. I was charged for a host to help with cake service and dessert who never showed up and had to cut are cake with a butter knife. The worst part of this whole experience was the owner George all he cares about is money and has no professionalism. The event was paid for 70 people he came to me and said I owed him an addition 300$ which I paid then he comes back out and says I owe him another 550$ at this point I m trying to enjoy my sons party we where doing gifts and cake and he was standing there pacing back and forth with his arms crossed making everyone very uncomfortable. He was trying to say that I had 90 people so I had to pay for an additional 20 people when we where doing cake and presents only about 4 people had left and there was no way there was 90 people there. He threatened to call the cops if I didn t pay him the additional 550$ he had me in tears and my mom and sister very upset. Now us being all woman he took advantage of the situation he would have never approached a man the way he did me. This was the worst experience I have ever had and I will see him in court. Please beware don t let this man ruin your special day.

Took my daughter and her friends out for the day.. We had an amazing time. Plus the staff was so warm and welcoming.. will definitely come back.

Loved it, it was awesome, and even though there's there's not many attractions, the employees are amazing and always have a smile on their face!

Fun rides and water park. My boyfriend and I had a great date day!

The admission price is right.. Water park and beach are nice... Go on a weekday to beat the crowd.

Not a huge selection of rides but the lines went quickly and all of the employees were very friendly

Excellent fun for the younger kids and the teens. Splash away bay is a blast. Daily cabana rentals are amazing: bring your own lunches and drinks! Keep them cool in the cabanas fridge. Cabanas include 2 "cruise ship" style line chairs/ large round table and 4 chairs for lunch/wait staff bring food and drink orders to you--no lines/ and the sturdy canopy is great for getting out of the sun and can be closed off for privacy. 90$ weekday for the cabana 6 people per ---obviously this increases the price a good bit above a standard visit to Quassy, but it truly transforms the visit, giving families a "home base" to rest, eat, change little ones, store items (includes secure locked storage) etc. Highly recommended!!

Really nice environment the only Problem was the health department They Shut the place down I guess there was too many people there I don't know To Bad The place was really Friendly environment for kids

This place was so fun. Staying here for the day was fun and I was ecstatic. This was my first time here and I really enjoyed myself!!!!

Quaint smaller amusement park with great rides and expanded water park.

Food purchased in park is overpriced, and cold. Not enthused with it at all. Park should advise parents that younger children are not allowed on all rides and all day passes should be cheaper. Otherwise had a very nice day at park

Quassy Park is a delightful time. I went there all the time as a kid and used to pay for the tickets for the rides. The all day pass with water park is a really nice way to spend an afternoon. I'm a rollercoaster fiend, but my parter doesn't like to do stuff that I think is tame. That said. The wooden warrior was a blast for people of all roller coaster proclivities, and the water park was a perfect level of fun. Lines were short.
The reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because the food and tickets are a little over-priced still. But I would still pay it again for the nice afternoon I spent there this past Monday.

No six flags but it's a perfect wee park for little ones. I race there multiple times a year because of the gorgeous lake. I plan on going at least yearly

I have gone to Quassy every other year for my whole life and I'm 28

This is the perfect amusement park for a family. Especially small children. I hadnt been in over 25 yesrs amd was pleasantly surprised. I spent the day there with my 10 year old son and his best friend and I felt comfortable lettig them run ahead to rides without me because of the safe environment. I wasn't stressed like I would have been at Six Flags for sure.

At first I was second thinking coming to this place because it seemed to small however it was the best experience ever. Even though it is small all the rides are great and the lake is a big bonus. Most employees were amazingly nice. We only encountered one issue at the Tidal Wave ride were the employee was being unfair to certain guests until one person asked for the manager and they switched him out but other than that everything else was great and we will definitely ve coming back before the season ends.

I've been going here since I was a kid. Now that I hear you threw someone out for not wearing a mask gonna say by forever and my family and friends stand with me on this. Its out side number one and not everyone can wear one. Sorry but by by for good

It is a great place to take your kids! From the little baby in the stroller to your teens there is something for the kids to do! The water park and beach are great and very clean! The rides are great cause there are plenty of rides for all ages! We love it here!

Terrible customer service. Even down to the owner George that they had gotten. They do not care about guest let alone kids. I was told one thing and had to drive all the way here to be told " Sorry it was a 16 year old and she got it wrong nothing I can do" First young girl was offended I asked for a DIFFERENT manager and so much she kept saying it to all the other employees. She was snotty and rude and took her position too seriously which ruined the day for 2 small children and her and other owner could care less. I will stick to getting my Diamond passes every year at Lake Compounce.

This park is the perfect size right along with the perfect price point. We loved the water rides it was so fun. The kids enjoyed it. Not to mention the lake beach. I highly recommend this place. Beware, the swings are very scary and to my opinion dangerous. My daughter who weighed about 65 pounds was so scared because as the swings rides through the air it pushes the seat backwards and I was scared that she would slip out. This has never happened to us not even in great adventures. Other than that it was awesome that's why I reviewed my review.

What a great family oriented park! Everyone was so nice and the facilities were clean! I cannot wait to go again!
