Great big sandwiches and an encyclopedia of a menu. Lots to try and we made it a pit stop on our trip thru NY. With such a large menu there is no way of making everything fresh and we could tell. If they trimmed some down they could focus on quality over quantity. Still satisfying if you need a quick stop to eat

Wonderful selection of sandwiches and hot goods as well as a huge selection of home made pies and other deserts. As well as a fully stocked bar at end of restaurant. Great place for fish fry on Fridays. Great staff and wait staff. In the New Hartford Shopping Ctr.

Great sandwiches and a good list of daily specials every time we go in.

Pumpernickel's is a busy place on a Friday night. It's easy to see why. I am a repeat customer and have never had a mediocre meal or poor service. The staff is always courteous and, time permitting, one of the proprietors will greet you.

And the food? Tonight my partner and I selected from the day's specials, right off the chalk board. Egg Plant Parm for me, a nice Beet Salad for my partner. Looks pretty good, doesn't it!

Got the Reuben panini and sweet potato fries. The corned beef was moist and flavorful and the fries were accompanied with honey, which paired nicely. Best sandwich I've had in a while.

Fantastic deli sandwiches, friendly service, odd hours. It's always worth the stop and Thursday seafood specials are fantastic. Grab sweet potato chips with honey as your side - the best I've had anywhere! The addition of the new "pub" style bar in the back means you can grab a pint of craft beer with your meal too.

Delicious food in a great atmosphere! The staff is also very professional and always greets everyone with a smile. Highly recommended!

Sitting at the bar of this fine establishment right now. The owner came personally and served me. Showed me his beer selection. Definitely a great place to go if you enjoy IPA style beer! I highly recommend coming to this place. Quietly tucked in the back of the shopping centre you can enjoy a nice ambience and good drink while your out shopping.

Was my first time there...The burger I had was great...what I was a little dissatisfied with was the fact that with my burger, there were exactly 7 fries...and they were out of ice...so my drink was room temperature pretty much...

We order from Pumpernickel's at least once a week for lunch. There's about 6 of us at work who order and we love it every time! They know my name as soon as I walk in and they take good care of us. I would recommend Pumpernickel's any day. Fantastic food.

Dinner was excellant,fried shrimp, baked potato, cold slaw. Wait staff excellant, pleasant and friendly. Loved the New England Clam Chowder

Quality of food is second to none. Phil and staff are very professional. They treat you well! No attitude! Cozy bar with a nice wine and beer selection. Highly recommend Pumpernickle's for lunch and/or dinner.

A favorite place for me. Even my kids who live out of state always want to eat here when they come home.

Food is soooo good, homemade and fresh. Service is great and you will not find a cleaner restaurant anywhere. Live jazz on Friday or Saturday nights too. (It's located in "center court" of the shopping plaza so you really have to look for it). Top notch!

This is an excellent find, in the middle of New hartford Shopping Center! You know how you find that one dish that you always get when you go back to the restaurant? With this place, I have tried multiple dishes and have loved everyone of them!!
