Great experience my first time some books I've never seen before in most library's too.
This is a great Library. Of course I'm not just saying that because I happen to serve on the board. I really mean it. I have been going to this Library since I was in grade school, and I still love it. It has kept up to date with all the latest technology, and it has a wide selection of books in all areas. And the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Come on in and read.
All the staff is nice. If I ever have a question no matter how out there they always seem to know just what I need so they know their library.
And I can't tell you what a blessing the child's play area is down stairs.
As a single mom it's rare I can go anywhere without him so it's nice to know he has something to look forward to doing when mommy has to run her errands.
Also really great for rainy days and you need to eat your kids out of the house!!
Great library, staff is great, but selection is lacking. I could compile a list of 10 books randomly and its almost guaranteed they wont have any of them. I know we arent a giant city with a giant library but this is ridiculous.
Very friendly staff and always have events going on and seem to keep new books coming in often.
I like having free access to the Ancestry/Genealogy records, the childrens selection and play area. I don t like returning a book, into the drop box right inside the door, but still receiving texts and eventually a COLLECTION notice because one of the workers misplaced it. Of course they did find the book at some point. I found only because I called them upon receiving the letter. They offered no apology for sending the letter or any explanation as to why they couldn t find the book in the first place or why they didn t call me letting me know they had the book. I had to call them to find out they had the book. I no longer use the drop box.
Awesome library! If they don't have it they'll get it; on loan or possibly buy it! Great programs for kids. Something for everyone!
The library needs better handicapped accessibility from the outside.
The children s area was very clean but the librarian was unnecessarily rude. There wasn t as much to do as the visitors brochure lead us to believe.
A very nice public library with a special welcome for young children. Library staff are friendly and clearly respect one another. There is almost always a theme of some kind in decorations and displays in the main library area. For adults with an interest in Enid and north central Oklahoma, the local history room on the second floor is a gold mine of information. This is a real refuge for a variety of people and a tremendous city asset.
Friendly, helpful people. Electronic books for readers offered.
They have been doing an amazing job serving the community during the pandemic. They have storytimes on their Facebook page that feel just as involved as a face-to-face interaction. The staff seem like lovely people and I am excited to see what new ideas they come up with in the future.
