Placed my first (but not my last) order recently. Coffee was roasted and shipped the next business day; and received in a couple more days. the Ed Astra (dark roast) is deep, dark, rich and wonderful. But I also love the John Brown (medium roast) especially black. Very good flavor, smooth, great aroma. I can see why this company wins so many roasting awards. I would match their customer service up against anyone also!

Please note here is not for retail. It is not a good strategy to have a cup of good coffee by simply following GPS here. I am happy that employee are friendly.

I have fantasized every day about this cup of coffee that I got a month ago. It was a latte with brown sugar syrup, made with Flying Monkey espresso. It was the best cup of coffee I ve had in a long time. The barista was super friendly and if I lived in town I would frequent this shop. :)

This is NOT a coffee shop! The real coffee shop is elsewhere in Topeka. This Google listing and the reviews make it look like you can get cups of coffee here, but it is just the place they roast the beans and distribute them! I'm sure they do a lovely job, and the guy we talked to kindly told us where to go, but you will not come away from here with hot delicious cups of wake-me-up :(

I always love coming here to get work done or meet up with come friends. They roast their own beans so #winning. It's always a great coffee experience and fast service. Try it out if you haven't been!

My coworker and I went to PT s for some quick coffee and lunch. I ordered a nitro and the guy who served it eyed the measurement, in other words he gave me half of a 16 oz cup which half a measure would be 8oz. No big deal, I thought that was lame and I just wanted my money back. My friend on the other hand ordered a chai vanilla latte which took 30 minutes to make. He also ordered a breakfast wrap and we never saw it. We were there for a total of 50 minutes and walked out with one chai latte.

What was worse is that the customer service was horrible. The guy working on the bar did not care about whether or not he kept our business or not. He was willing to give us our money back as long as we can get out of his hair.

What a pleasure it is to do business with an online company that understands the importance of customer service. Recently a coffee order was lost in transit. It was clear that the coffee might be expired by the time I received it. PT's without hesitation replaced the order and shipped so that I would have it in 3-4 days. In the meantime my order was delivered. I offered to pay for the second order as well but they wouldn't accept. First class company to do business with. I will be placing more orders from them in the future.

5/2020 I have tried quite a few roasters during COVID, with a focus in Chicago area. I only drink single origin, lighter roast. Which limits my options.

These have been the best beans I have received, no competition.

I received them a few days after they were roasted (in IL).

Was lucky to have ordered the two Ethiopian while they were on sale.
Size options are 12oz and 5lbs; I wish there was 1lb. I am not sure I drink enough for 2lbs without it aging too much, but I drink more during quarantime.

Definitely will be ordering more and recommending to anyone who likes light roast.
