A large mall that is centrally situated, extremely busy on most weekends. They have Japan's Seibu department store and Thai's Central department store in the mall. May restaurant options.

Huge one-stop entertainment mall, you can get almost anything here, from food to clothes. A great ambience and popular among Jakartans.

Big place and high security. There is a musuem and a lot entertainment and food court. Only not easy to reach via taxi if you're in opposite ways.

Wow! Amazingly huge place. Couldn't even complete the entire mall due to time constraint. Walkable distance from the Grand Hyatt and Plaza Indonesia. Might need help to find specific shops inside the mall. Better to use gmaps to find any specific shop. Guards are friendly who help to find the right exit.

This five star mall in the heart of Central Jakarta is the biggest mall in town. You would easily find branded items, play gounds for your childrens and also cinema. With a new comcept of food court at level 5 you can get a very cozy sitting arrangements.
If you want special dining concept you also have many choises for restaurants as you wish from Indonesian, western, japanese, korean, Thai, Chinese, Malaysian and many more.

Another must visit mall if you make your way to Central Jakarta. One of the biggest shopping malls in Jakarta carrying high end brands. Great for window shopping in general but if you walk around you could certainly find some good bargains especially towards November and December. Also, I found that prices at Grand Indonesia to be little higher in comparison to Plaza Indonesia which is located just apposite the Grand Indonesia. I strongly recommend that you visit both places as they are among the best places Jakarta can offer you. Great place to shop with your friends and family as they have plenty of eatery options too.

Mall for luxurious, classy, good variant, but some are overpriced
you can find some product sold cheaper at another mall/places for same brand and same type

A huge, sprawling and utterly confusing Mall designed by architects that must have gone bonkers.

Must visit place in jakarta , this place offers a lot of things . You can find all kind of cuisine style here , my favorite place is Union Deli ( they serving delicious coffee and my favorite Red Velvet Pie ) .
