Too big indeed. If it's not my wife begging, I won't go there. I am not fond of malls, especially big ones, so to me this is a nightmare.

I researched for the best place to take my wife shopping in Jakarta and determined it to be this mall and I think I was right. It has all of the favorite shops and products at comparable prices. Even some pleasant surprises such as the number of good food places. We ate at Kafe Betawi which had some good choices with more local food. And of course got a lot of shopping done.

One of the iconic mall in Bundaran HI, central Jakarta. Lots of shops, restaurants and shops... it is so big that you have to know where do you go and park your car otherwise it will be a long walk from one side to the other. Overall very good mall with a lot of selections

You can find most tenants here. A big mall in the heart of the city, can be very crowded during weekend. I visited often, mostly because of the gym, and to eat.

One of the biggest and complete mall in Indonesia. You can almost find any brands in here from west to east wings.

Many people's favorite mall, located in central Jakarta, convenient and big, but to me, it has too much overlapping stores. Not enough restaurants, but it has some special areas for small stands to sell stuff, so for me, it is a so so place to spend the day, the advantage for this mall is that it has a very big shopping area with two other mall buildings right beside it.

Its a big mall located just behind Kempinski Hotel. There are lots of retail stores, restaurants and even movie theater. The food court and restaurants are crowded during lunch time

One of oldest mall in Jakarta. I went here earlier this morning after applying for the Japanese visa at the embassy next door. Almost everything here is branded stuff, which probably explains why they're pretty much empty. There's one place that's always crowded though, and that's thw food court. It's a bit sad to witness, and I really don't see thr point having all these fancy stores without any customers. In fact, I felt a bit uncomfortable walking among them. It's a feeling that's a bit hard to describe. The only time I will come back is probably if I need a Starbucks fix near the entrance at 1st floor.

Parking can be difficult at times (even when you try to queue out of the place!), but once you get used to the routes and timing, the trip pays off. Good variety of shopping and dining options, plus other activities.

Huge freaking mall with tons of options. Food, clothing, electronics and entertainment. GI has it all, spend your hard earned cash wisely. Unless you're filthy rich then by all means go on a shopping spree, you'll feel gooood.
