We are Canadians who were looking to purchase a property in Oroville, WA (during the border closure). Prior to working with Roger, we had experienced some challenges with other realtors in the area (e.g. poor technology skills, slow to respond to inquiries, unable to answer questions, etc.). When we contacted Roger we let him know that we needed an agent in the area who was comfortable working with us remotely. Roger told us he would make it happen and he certainly did!

We worked with Roger over a 4-month period and found him to be patient, helpful, honest, easy to get along with, and very responsive (often within minutes of our inquiry!). Roger facilitated a number of virtual showings of houses using video conferencing tools. He pointed out details that we wouldn t have previously considered and ensured that all our questions were answered. We felt as though the virtual showings were just as effective as a face-to-face showings. During our purchase process, we ran into a few challenges along the way and Roger kept us informed, offered us options, and helped us to understand the ins-and-outs of US real estate processes. Roger was with us every step of the way.

Even after closing, Roger continues to be a helpful local resource that answers our Oroville-specific questions.

Without hesitation, we would work with Roger again and we recommend Roger Hammond to anyone looking to buy a house (especially to buyers not located in the area, including Canadians).

Once I chose the house I wanted he helped me through the buying process, I was sure glad I had him working for me. He is very patient person and answered all my questions. She clearly put a lot of thought into the listing, and price, as well as the process of making a deal in the end.
