Worked here for about 5 months. They are very respectful people , and generous. The office can be a little dull sometimes, but the people working there make it exceptional. Definitely recommend it if you re a rockstar recruiter
The agency really helped me. They stuck by me and helped me get the job I really wanted.
I got a call from Jekera saying she can help me find a job. I went there fill out more than 10 pages of paper work, they were asking for ss# number, bank account information they even had tax forms and I was like no I can t fill this out until I know I got a job. Anyway since that day I never heard back from them. Very unprofessional company and I think they are a scam.
Firstly, the talent specialist I worked with is exceptional she is respectful in every way. Your concerns are her concerns but more importantly she helps to remove barriers to facilitate the hiring process. She's kind and without her, I wouldn't have found employment as quickly as I did. Their recruiters were great, Taryn was really nice and made the process really simple in terms of paperwork and what was needed for the job. I highly recommend them!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ..!! these horrible people took months to find me a job and the job the did find was no where near me I'm talking two hours travel no where near me when I asked to be placed else where (mind you this is supposed to be one of the perks of agency) they refused to move me. Also they did not renew my certification even though that is your employers responsibility. They are horrible people .
They are so inconsistent! I filled out an app and sent all my paper work to them in November. They called me every week for absolutely nothing. They kept saying they had a case for me and it was nothing. In December they called me for a case for one day that I'm still waiting for the check for. They weren't consistent enough so I told them I quit because I found another job that was indeed consistent they still haven't sent me my check it's almost February. Everytime I call they give me the run around, they have caller I'd so I think they just aren't answering me and screening the calls. The boss is very disrespectful and rude it's highly unprofessional
My experience was really great with this agency, especially with Natasha O'Connell. She is a very professional agent and truly care about every people she encountered. the most importantly, she will coach you how to perform well in the job interview, so you'll have great chance landing a job confidently and easily. She is the person you should contact with!

It is unfortunate that when you read the reviews, and they re as your own experience. When someone provides all the documentation to work, your information sits somewhere unused. This makes you wonder, how secure is my privacy maintained, and if I possibly worked, would I received pay? My experience time frame reference is for 2016.
They are a group of disrespectful, ignorant people. They don't even know what the qualifications for a position are. Hope someone supervising recruiters (like francisco and anthony) could see this. They are harming your business!!!!
I registered with ProMed as a licensed practical nurse and my experience with them was not good. I was supposed to begin work with them on a specific date and then the supervisor (I don't know her name) called me and told me that I cannot attend that orientation because I will end up quitting in 2 weeks (because of the distance) and then she won't work with me again. She made assumptions, was very rude and passive, and then never got back to me like she said she would. I would not recommend them.
Chanice was my recruiter for many years, I am so sorry that she left. She was very professional and went beyond the scope of her job.
She was replaced by Jorell and a bunch of other staff members that were very disrespectful towards me and very hard to reach to find a job.

Aside from supreme professionalism, Taryn quickly built rapport and trust by her unweaving, proactive support through my hiring process from setting up interview through after I was hired. I would hope more ppl would get the chance to having Jorell Rivera as their recruiter. I ve read many reviews today about this company I must admit I m very surprised. However I would like to know the owner of this company. Because I ve been calling since April until this month of July to having my CNA renewal. Someone in the office stated to me that Jorell is no longer with the company. I was feeling sad for their lost but as of yesterday he s back what a blessing. Unpleased how thebreformated my resume and put their logobon it and vonfusing the manager.
ProMed staff and the organization they sent me to perpetuated a lie with smiling faces by making me think I would be working in a medical/data entry position but instead turned out to be lifting boxes and rearranging papers.
Won't release your medical documents to you unless you pay for them. Ridiculous. Everyone just transfers your call from one person to the next.
Ive applied for over two years and they haven't found me a job yet. I have a college degree and have worked for over ten years in the medical field and yet have they to place me anywhere. I have a different recruiter everytime and they only call me once a year when they find my resume.
This agency isn't helpful at all. The recruiters will either call or email you for an updated version of your resume, or claim they will refer to you a recruiter regarding your field of work and never contact you.
They had a job listing in the paper which said to call them to apply. So I tried to do just that; for 3 days straight. The main answering service of course picked up but would transfer me to the same number that never ever picked up. I asked who could I speak to about this position and I was told to call at a specific time, so I did. Even then, no one picked up. For three days I called and called, never once did anyone answer. Of course whoever this person is will be busy, but why put a job listing in the paper saying to call and you never answer the bloody phone?
Met with one of the recruiters back in October 2019, still waiting.
Alba Schwarz from ProMed is simply amazing. She goes above and beyond to help whether by email, phone or even text. They take the time to work with you and are very hands on. This is definitely worth a try, for anyone who is looking for a job.
I had a really great experience. I ended up being hired by the facility I was placed at which was great. The only negative is that they needed to have all this medical stuff done that was recipricated by the hospital I was working at. So i felt it was a wasted of time and money. Besides for that I had a great experience and I now have a great job because of their placement.
Tina, Jacquelyn, Nicole and Joseph were absolutely amazing to work with!!! They were great with communicating what they needed from you and vice versa. I can t express how happy I am with how well they worked with me. What a wonderful staff and hardworking team!!! I worked with them as a temp on two different projects and then got hired for a permanent position so happy with my job. They deal with great private doctors and companies/hospitals all over the city that have amazing permanent positions and job offers. I would recommend pro med to everyone and anyone in the medical field you won t regret it!!!

This agency is unprofessional, they expect you to work under abusive conditions. When I called and reported the abuse she kept giving me the run around about replacing me with someone else. The new replacement never came so I quit. My contact at the agency kept calling me and leaving harassing messages. Never will I refer anyone to this agency!!!
I gave my social security number which was so careless now they haven t responded. They are a phishing company trying to get your personal information. Don t be tricked!
ProMed Staffing Resources gave me an opportunity to work with a reputable company full time straight out of college with my bachelors. I am thankful to ProMed for their support. I am usually wary of staffing agencies more or so because of the misconceptions about a staffing agency, however, ProMed is one of the most trustworthy staffing agency I have worked with.

It's been over a month since my recruiter last spoken to me. I called her to find out the status of my profile and she seemed quite irritated. I really don't understand why the agency takes so much information from people like social security number, diploma, make you fill out a W2 form and etc. I'm thinking to myself I'm going to get something fast but NOTHING. She tells me the hasn't been any updates. What???? I text the recruiter asking her are there any jobs available, she replies many. WHERE!!!!
I had a very positive experience with Promed Staffing Agency. I worked in the health care sector for a prominent part of my life but only starting working with them since January when I had lost my job. They showed me that perserverance and hard work doesn't get unrewarded but with salary increases and flexibility with making my own schedule that I could pick my self up and reinvent myself once again. I had Jorell and Mina.Daniel staffing coordinators who interfaced with the staffing coordinators at my assigned work place to ensure that when working with Promed we would a high percentage of times get more scheduled shifts than other agencies. Working in the health care industry is challenging at times, I'm thankful for God for he provided the day and the job through Promed Staffing but also that I could make someone's life a little better,even if the only thing I had to offer them was a hug and a smile. That is a nice day. It's always a nice day when I work for Promed. I believe People first then money. I m glad they took a chance on me .

I have never worked for an agency before. I was hired through all my former employer's before working for ProMed. I was looking for a new Lpn job, when I stumbled across a nursing home/hospice facility, that was offering 12hr shifts, 3 days a week. I applied for the job and that was my first encounter with Promed Staffing Agency.
I was greeted, on the phone, by Stephanie, whom was very informative about the position and what was needed to start this new job, that I was yearning for. I submitted all the necessary documentation and off I began at my new job.
I was checked up on, by Promed, to assure everything was going good for me and how I viewed working, for this facility. I was given positive feedback for all my good work, and was given a pat, on my back, for hearing good rapport about, my work ethics.
I received a call, from the head supervisor, of ProMed Yossi. He was calling to ask how everything was going and if I ever needed anything don't hesitate to call. It was from that point on that Yossi and I spoke almost everyday, that I had work. Yossi, went above and beyond, his call of duty, as a supervisor to ensure all his employees were happy. More then a handleful of times Yossi, provided me with an Uber to ensure I made it to work, because I was struggling financially with money, newly divorced, being a single mother, with zero support.
Yossi, even put in for me to have access, to my paychecks, a few days earlier. He knew I was struggling.
I hit a rough patch with the job, which I wont get into, but the situation was serious enough, for me, to second guess continuing, with my career at this facility. I was hurt, and full of disbelief that I couldn't talk to anybody because of feeling embarassed that anybody could accuse me of such false accusations. I shut down.. Yossi, called me to make sure that I was okay and was willing to place me at another facility, if I wanted to. He even went, as far as, wanting to be present in the meeting that was suppose to transpire between my former co-worker, DON and myself but was buried under the rug, and never spoken about again. I took this very personally and decided my time needed to expire, at this facility. Yossi, was on board and placed me, within a day, at a new facility.
ProMed agency should teach other work places how to appreciate their employees. A pat on the back, saying good job, goes along ways, instead of pat on the back, with you should of done this, this way. As for Yossi, I have never met a superior whom cares so much, for his employees that even on his off days, he still picks up his phone.. Hands down the most dedicated gentleman to making sure you feel okay and are treated with respect and are given what you were promised.

I've been with this agency for almost a year and both offices in the city & Long Island are GREAT. Everyone is really helpful and as long as you are persistent things will fall into place.
The owner is a little extreme, but if you do your job to the best of your ability, and set limits there is no need to have contact with him.
Staffing is inconsistent, but I had a good experience with Shalene.
