This is a great place to work with high standards and morals. As a retired military person I could not have found a better place to work. I like the atmosphere and professionalism of the staff and leadership.

I have worked for Professional Performance (PPDG) for over 8 years in the corporate offices and have had a wonderful experience. Management is responsive, my fellow co-workers are pleasant and productive and there is a family-oriented atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoy working for this company.

In my experience, they made promises they didn't deliver. They reassured me I had this particular job, pushed me to get all the requirements completed, and told me it was just a matter of "when I would start, not if I would start". Two weeks after completing the paperwork and requirements, I was told it had been turned in for processing. I then spent another two weeks trying to get in contact with people in their office, leaving voicemails not returned. When I finally did get ahold of someone, I was reassured that "my paperwork was going through security, which could take some time depending on where it was in the line".

I finally sent an email to the three contact people I knew from the company, letting them know I needed some answers. I received a voicemail and email, telling me that the position (that I had been reassured I already had, and was only waiting for a start date) had lost its funding from the government. When I spoke to the man (S.) in charge, he informed me that they knew there were problems with funding right after they submitted the paperwork - four weeks earlier. He stated they waited to inform me because they didn't know for sure if the funding was going to come through, and it was only in the last few days that they found out it didn't. He further went on to tell me that several people from his company went to the AFB to try to "fight for my position", but were unable to save it. He was unapologetic, and unwilling to acknowledge that his company could have handled things differently.

The professional and courteous, as well as ethical, thing to do would have been to give me the knowledge about the issues with funding for the position, and allow me to make the decision to either look for alternate job possibilities (while waiting for the final decision) or just wait for the final decision. They took this decision away from me because they didn't want to lose their commission or fees in case the job funding did come through.
