I travel an hour each way to see these shows. Student productions, but of the highest quality. Many are rarely seen plays.
Princeton summer theater is always amazing. The shows are consistently good, the sets are well-designed. The theater is both intimate and large enough to put on a good show with elaborate sets. It's definitely worth it to get season tickets, the entire repertoire for the summer I was in the area was solid. I cried I laughed I had an incredible time. Definitely visit Princeton summer theater.
Loved the play but could not hear some of actors very well, especially if they were not facing the audience. HOpe you can work on this...otherwise, set, lighting, etc. were very good
Fantastic summer stock theater company run by University students and with both student and professional actors. They put on four full production plus one kids show every summer.
Great theater and you will never find a bad seat here.
Loved it! Visiting from the west coast, we popped in and saw a fast and furious 75-minute no-intermission theater-in-the-round version of A Midsummer Night's Dream with minimalist set, vocal looping soundscape and gender bending characters that blew our minds. I'd decidedly return to see what else these creative souls will produce for their lucky audiences!
They have for fantastic shows every summer. We try to see all of them every season. The theater itself is intimate, so that every seat is great. The ensemble always does a fantastic job. The PlayStation shoes are varied, and sometimes take me places I wouldn t have thought to go. Highly recommended.
